Tea's Point of View

"If you're the perfect girl," Dave points to me. "Then this won't be the last time you see me." He says, and he walks out of the room and slams the door behind him.

Daniel walks over to me, but I couldn't say anything. He hugged me, and I let my head rest on his chest. I could hear his heart beating rapidly.

"I'm sorry, Tea." He whispers. "I'm so, so sorry."

"Don't be sorry Daniel." I say, holding onto him tighter than before. "It's not your fault."

"But, I-"

"I'm your perfect girl." I say, looking up into his eyes. "Those words will always be able to make everything better."

Ellie had told me what had happened, and she was feeling a lot better. We had decided we wanted to go back to our house and hang out there.

I had left the car at the boy's place a while ago, and we decided to all try and fit into the seven seater car.

Two seats at the front, two seats in the middle, three seats at the back, and a spare space at the very end of the car, enough room for three people.

"Who's the most reliable driver?" I asked, Daniel holding my hand. Damn, he was so cute.

"Probably you." Erin says.

"I agree." Ashley adds.

"In that case, I call shotgun." Daniel says, smiling at me.

We all hop into the car, Daniel and I in the front, Ellie and Jack in the middle, Jonah, Corbyn and Ashley in the back, and Erin, Maria and Zach at the very end.

"Buckle up everyone." I say, shoving the keys into the car.

"Tea, we aren't five." Maria complains.

"Well, Maria. I'm a nineteen year old driving 10 people in a car with seven seats, and I'm still used to driving on the left side of the road."

"Who nominated Tea as the most reliable driver again?" Daniel jokes, and I playfully slap his arm.

I start driving, and the car erupts in a bunch of small conversations.

"Do you guys want to hear one of our songs?" Jack asks, grabbing the aux chord.

"Of course." Ashley says, and he scrolls through his apple music.

"Should we start at Only the Beginning?"

"Maybe These Girls." Zach says, and all the boys laugh.

"I think Trust Fund Baby." Daniel says.

"Oooh, Ed Sheeran." Jonah says.

"Ed Sheeran?" Maria, Ellie, Erin, Ashley and I say in unison.

"Like the Ed Sheeran?" Maria says.

"Yes, Maria." Zach says. "The Ed Sheeran."

"Play it, play it, play it." Ashley says, until Jack presses on a song.

The instrumental at the start of the song took me by surprise.

"Wow." I say, and then came the first line of the song.

"I don't want a girl who gets a car for her sweet sixteen, or spends a stack of dollar bills on a limousine."

"Stop." I say with disbelief, as we neared a red light. "Daniel, is this you?" I ask, and he turns my head to me.

"Sure is." He says, and my smile grows huge.

"Stop! No way!" I say with disbelief. All the boys laugh, and the girls and I keep listening and commenting on their music. They really were incredible.

We finally pull up in front of our house, and we all get out.

"Daniel." I say, grabbing his arm lightly. "Stay back, I want to show you something." I could feel myself blushing.

"Sure." He says, smiling.

The couples piled out of the car one by one. Jack got out of the car first, offering a hand to help Ellie get out. They began laughing and they walked into the house like the cute couple they were.

Next was Corbyn and Ashley, who were taking stupid pictures and videos with each other once they got out.

Then Erin and Jonah had walked out, hand in hand. They were smiling at each other, and Erin was complimenting him on the songs, and asking him what it was like to work with Ed Sheeran.

Finally, Maria and Zach. They walked out of the car, playfully insulting each other.

Daniel and I both went back into the car. We sat in the middle row, and I wanted to show him something. The things that were in my glovebox, the things I had been keeping for no reason for all. He'd thinking I was so weird, I swear to God. Maybe I shouldn't tell him. I don't want him thinking that I was stupid or weird when we had only had our first kiss the night before. We had only been alone a few times, and they were all during such emotional circumstances.

I just wanted us to be a normal couple in a normal situation for once. Maybe this was my chance, so I know I shouldn't blow it by showing those stupid things to him.

"Tea?" Daniel says, his voice bringing we back to reality.

His eyes.

His smile.

His hair.

His everything.

I don't really know what happened next, but his lips were on mine and his hands were in my hair. I couldn't help but smile.

I wanted to say that we were finally the normal couple in a semi-normal situation, but I would be lying.

He was too perfect, and I was too different.

He was everything, and I was nothing.

But together we were something.

We were something different, and I loved it.
