Ellie's Point of View

"So, Jonah, we have to find a way to distract Erin. To get her out of the house." I say, walking down the hallway to the cinema room with Jonah.

"Why are you distracting her?" Jonah asks, implying that we were doing something fun without her.

"Don't give me that look." I tell him, and his face relaxes. "It's her birthday on Monday, and we have to plan her party, that's all."

"Wait, seriously?" Jonah says, stopping in his tracks. "Why didn't she tell me?"

"She doesn't like to talk about it. Her party is inner circle only for that reason."

"Ellie, your inner circle his minimum 13 people."

"Well it's going to be minimum 18 people now." I laugh.

"Really?" He asks, genuinely surprised.

"Of course, Jonah. If you and the boys don't come, I bet Erin will be very disappointed."

We walk into the cinema room. Maria, Zach, Corbyn, Jack and Ashley were all sitting on our giant couch, eyes on their phones.

"Guys, Erin is making tacos for us. The other girls are going out for dinner soon. We have a small amount of time to plan her party, so someone give me ideas." I say, sitting down next to Jack.

"A valentine's theme party?" Jack suggests, winking at me.

"Way too cheesy." Maria says. "If that's the theme, I am not coming. I will never return to this house. I'll throw a brick through the window and move to Australia." Everyone in the room burst out laughing, and then I realised something.

"Hey, where's our Aussie?" I ask, thinking of where I last saw Tea.

"And where's Daniel?" Zach points out. Most of us look at each other, putting the pieces together.

"They'll be fine. Any other party ideas?" I ask, but the room becomes silent.

"Okay we need to find Tea." Ashley says, standing up.

"True." Maria says, and she and Zach were the first ones out the door.

Tea's Point of View

"A beach party?" I say, Daniel and I walking along the pier. "You're a damn genius, Daniel."

"I'm really not." He says, blushing.

"Naw, you're embarrassed." I tease him, and we both laugh.

"Friday night. We could set up a huge picnic along the beach. We could get our photographer, Zack, to take photos of us all at sunset. We could just chill for the entire night. It would be awesome."

"It would." I say, smiling up at him.

We reached the end of the pier and we sat down on the cold wood, hanging our legs a number of metres above the dark blue water.

The pink and purple sunset glowed on our skin, the waves gently crashing onto the shores of the beaches next to the pier. I was in LA, on a pier, with a perfect boy. This was a life I only dreamed of when I was younger.

"Tea?" He asks, his voice soft.

"Yeah Dani?" I reply, and he smiles, his incredible dimples appearing.

"Never mind, it's stupid..." He says, hanging his head while he laughs.

"Daniel! Tell me!" I laugh, curious now. I try to slap his arm, but he grabs my hand instead, and we both laugh at how unintentionally smooth it was.
