Erin's Point of View

"Jonah, where the hell are we going?" I ask, black the only colour my curious eyes could see.

"Erin, don't you dare touch the blindfold." He says playfully, and I obey.

I had tried to imagine where the mysterious black car was taking me since we had left the house, but I had a feeling the driver was taking a detour to throw me off.

All I really hoped was that Jonah hadn't set up a plan to kidnap me.

Suddenly the car stopped, and I hoped that it wasn't just another set of traffic lights.

"Okay, I'll come around your side and help you out. Don't take your blind fold off." He says, and a few seconds later I hear the door closest to me open, and instantly I could feel a cool breeze on my face, and the distant sound of waves crashing.

"The beach, Jonah? That's so sweet, oh my go-"

And  suddenly my blindfold is gone, to reveal a huge bunch of people all scattered along the beach. An array of colourful towels all together in the centre of the beach, a volleyball net set up, on the white section of it reading 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIN!'.

There was a makeshift trestle table set up towards the side, with a huge range of food placed on it. There was also a couple of tripods set up, facing the ocean, where a couple of people I think I remembered from last nights concert, stood.

My eyes travelled back towards the large group of people- all the girls, and all of the boys- standing on the beach, holding their phones up towards the hill I was standing on.

"Happy birthday Erin!" They all yelled, some pulling on party poppers and others throwing streamers around.

My hands shot up to my mouth, shocked. I looked at Jonah, and he was looking at everyone down below, at the incredible sight. He was as astonished as I was.

I walked over to him, and hugged him, unable to stop smiling. I was shaking, and I couldn't stop.

I made my way down the stairs, Jonah right behind me, and as soon as my feet hit the sand, everyone can running up to me.

"Oh my gosh, guys, thank you so much." I say. "Who's idea was this?" I ask, when I finish hugging everyone.

"It was Daniel's idea!" Maria says, and I look over at Daniel.

"Really? Well, thanks so much Daniel." I smile at him, and he smiles back.

"Let's chuck some music on!" Ellie yells, running towards the speakers, and our huge group of people begin to break into smaller groups, talking.

"How cool is this?" Ashley walks up to me, taking in her surroundings.

"It's so unbelievable... you guys all actually did this for me?" I ask in disbelief.

"Well, we were all discussing it. Tea and Daniel were together when they came up with the idea, and we all just began to plan it from there!"

"Tell everyone involved that I'm incredibly grateful please."

"Of course." Ashley replies, and suddenly Corbyn appears.

"Ashley, want to take a photo together? August and Zack are offering two photo angles." He laughs, grabbing onto her hand.

"Of course!" She says excitedly, and she turns back to me, her eyes glowing. "I'll catch you later, Erin." And they run off towards the photographers.
