Ashley's Point of View
A girl appeared on our side of the net.
"Wow guys. You all thought you could have a party without me?"
It was dark, but I could see her face. Corbyn, Daniel and I were the ones closest to her, the ones who could see her the best. I was confused, so I looked behind me, but nobody else seemed to have noticed, or they couldn't see her.
Corbyn and Daniel look at each other, and then they both take her arm and pull her out of view.
"Aspen, I-" Corbyn starts, looking at the girl. She was meant to be in a full body cast last time I checked.
"You're so fake." Daniel says, shaking his head in disbelief. "The things you do for attention, Aspen, is surreal. Leave."
"I'm not leaving, Daniel." Aspen walks a couple steps towards Daniel, and she looks up at him, an evil smile playing at her lips. She brought her hand up to outline his face, but Daniel hit her hand away. "Daniel, what the-"
"I said leave." He spits.
"You think you're so good." Aspen begins, and I could see Daniel roll his eyes, even in the darkness.
"You can't do anything to hurt me anymore, Aspen."
"Oh really?" She says in a tone that made Corbyn and I look at each other, slightly fearful.
Suddenly, Jack, Ellie, Maria and Zach run up to us.
"Aspen?" Jack says immediately. He sounded betrayed.
"Aspen is not what's important right now!" Maria yells, but Jack continued to look hurt.
"What's up guys? What's the bad news?" I ask, holding onto Corbyn's arm.
"It's Tea..." Ellie starts, and Daniel instantly looks worried.
"She's on a plane back to Australia." Maria finishes.
Daniel turns around slowly, expressionless, to face Aspen. Just as he opened his mouth to say something, she cuts him off.
"You can't do anything to hurt me anymore, Aspen." Aspen mocks, then flipping her pony tail and walking away towards the endless dark beach.

Tea's Point of View
Taylor and I had talked for ages, about everything that had happened in our lives since we left high school. She was one of the friends from my extremely close friend group from school, which included Holly, Hannah, Taylor, Priscilla, and myself.
"So what brings you to LA? Or, brought you to LA." I ask. Taylor knew just as well as anybody that I had always wanted to live in Los Angeles, so I was curious as to why she hadn't called and asked to hang out.
"A work thing." She says, smiling.
"A work thing?" I ask, smiling, and we both laugh. Taylor was the last of us to get a job, and our high school group made a joke about it. We all had jokes about us, I was 'the one who was single for life', but I guess I had proved that wrong.
"If I'm working, does that mean that you're no longer single?" Taylor jokes- apparently we were both thinking back to high school.
"Well, actually-" I stop talking and the smile wipes off my face, remembering what I had done for Daniel. "It's complicated." I say, unable to make eye contact with Taylor. "I mean, it's not official, and we've been having... problems." I hesitate before using the word. "Not with each other, but with other people." She nodded, as though she understood.
