Tea's Point of View

"Flight 3097, International Wing, Los Angeles, California, to Melbourne, Victoria. Boarding in two minutes." I stood up and bunched my stuff together. To my relief, there wasn't many other people in the same boarding lounge as me. And thankfully, no strangers have tried to approach me and ask if I was okay.

"Tea?" My head whipped up. I literally thought I was going to be free from LA and everything it holds, but it seems that I was wrong.

"Maria. Please, just leave." I say, grabbing my small bag.

"You have nothing and you're planning on going on a 22 hour flight to Australia."

"I'll be fine. Trust me."

"Well what if I don't want to trust you?" She says, and I could feel my nails digging into the palms of my hands. "You're going to go back there, and you're going to be reminded of every reason you decided to leave."

"Like what?" I laugh in denial. "I get to go back there, see me best friends and my family. I could get an apartment in Melbourne. I could play netball and eat smarties. I could catch up with old friends. I have so much more I can do back home." I say.

"Now boarding flight 2097, International Wing, Los Angeles, California to Melbourne, Victoria." I pick up my phone, swinging my backpack over my shoulder as I begin to walk away.

"So what, you're just going to leave us?" I could hear Maria say in disbelief. I turn around, and glare at her.

"My best friend just died Maria. Are you going to be that selfish?" I could feel the tears forming in my eyes again, but I pushed them away. Maria looked hurt, but I would bet millions I was more hurt than she was.

"Tea, what about Daniel?" I suddenly acknowledge Zach's existence.

"What about him? He's not here right now, is he?" And with that, I turned on my heel and walked up to the flight attendant. While she was scanning my ticket, I took one last glance at Maria and Zach.

Then I walked into the plane, leaving everybody behind.

Maria's Point of View

I had really done it now.

I had pushed Tea to her breaking point. We had never had an actual argument before, only small ones over makeup and phones and food and clothes- the type sisters have.

But we've never had one where we had literally insulted each other. Or damaged each other to the point that we both wanted to cry.

We had never had an argument that ended so badly that one of us left to go to a different continent.

I turned to Zach, and he held me in his arms. How was I going to tell the others? Would Tea be okay?

I didn't even know what to think. The only feeling I felt was failure.

I failed her.

Tea's Point of View

I took my seat. The plane looked kind of full- fuller than what I had expected.

"There will be a halfway trip to Guangzou, China, where you will be moved to a different plane. Enjoy your flight." The pilot recited, my ears beginning to block out his voice.

Holly.

She was all I could think about.

Suddenly, a girl began to shove her carry-on into the compartment above my seating, and then she slid into the seat next to me, pulling out her phone.

I didn't take any notice to her face, or her phone, or even her damn hair colour, the way I usually did. I was too upset to even think about it.

"Tea?" A familiar voice says, and my head slowly turns to the girl next to me.

"Taylor!?"

Ellie's Point of View

I had tried to play it off, the whole Tea-and-Maria-and-Zach-just-ran-away thing, by telling everyone that they'll be fine.

But after the recent scene with Corbyn protecting Tea, and Daniel and Corbyn fighting, I'm pretty sure everybody knew that something strange was going on.

However, Corbyn and Daniel had been taken away by a strange girl I had never seen before, and she definitely wasn't invited to this party.

I wanted to play it cool, I wanted everyone to keep on having fun. But the way I said it, the way I acted it off, made me sound so ignorant. Erin and Ashley knew that I was lying, and they were still throwing weird glances at me.

The slow game of volleyball ended, and everybody decided to go get some drinks, when Erin approached me. "Ellie, why did you-" But before she could finish her question, Jack grabbed my arm, pulling me towards the ocean. I looked back, shooting Erin an apologetic look, and she walked off towards Ashley and Sarah.

Jack slowed down, and he moved his gentle fingers from my arm down to my hand.

"Corbyn and Daniel never fight like that, do they?" I ask, a question that had been playing on my mind since it happened.

"Never." Jack replied. "Tea doesn't usually run off like that, does she?"

"Nope. And Maria never follows." I say, and we both sit down on the sand, about a metre away from the water.

"I want to ask you what happened, but I have a feeling you are just as confused and clueless as I am."

"You're right again, Mr Avery." I laugh, and I look down at our hands that were laced together.

"I feel like lately everything has just been incredible, but everything has also just fallen apart." He says genuinely.

"I'm sure everything will sort itself out. It always does." I look up at Jack, giving him a small smile, and I placed my hand on top of his. Everything seemed to slow down in this moment,- it was just me and Jack, and he sand and the sea. Nothing was more perfect.

"Ellie, Jack!" Suddenly, my head whipped around to see a distressed Maria and a confused Zach. "Where's Corbyn, Daniel, Erin and Jonah? We need to... something terrible just happened!"

"What happened?" I ask them, looking cautiously at Jack.

"Tea is on a plane to Australia. And it doesn't sound like she's coming home any time soon."
