Chapter Five

I ran up to my room- what the hell was I going to do?

I quickly made my bed, and Scout, Ellie and Maria where all standing there, watching me.
"Guys, what do I do?" I ask helplessly.

"I don't know, I'm kind of scared to be honest." Maria says. That's what I loved the most about her- she was always honest.

Scout nudges her. "I'm sure it'll be fine."
"I think you should confront him. Tell him you know. Then tell him to leave." Ellie says.

"Ellie, it's probably easier for you to do. You've had so many boys to deal with."

"I'm not sure if that was a compliment or if I should be offended." She replies, and they all laugh.

Suddenly, we could all hear the front door open. My heartbeat became stuck in my throat.

"Can you guys stick around?"
"Sure." Maria jumps onto her bed, Ellie also jumping onto her own.

"He will probably kick us out." Scout says and smiles at me sadly.

"I guess I'll just have to figure something out." We could suddenly hear noises from downstairs.

"Hey Dmitri!" We could hear Ashley trying to be calm.
"Where is she?"
"Who?" Erin tries to play stupid, but we could hear Dmitri get mad.

"You know who, Erin! Where is she?"

"She's upstairs." Sarah said.

"Sarah!" Ingle whisper-yells, loud enough for us to hear.

And I press send just as we could hear his heavy footsteps on our staircase, but they suddenly paused. "What did you just call me, Myah?" He sounded irritated.

"Nothing." She replied.

Ellie laughs. "She definitely just called him a playboy." We all laugh.

Then, my breath is taken aback when Dmitri enters our room.

Tall and strong, with grey-blue eyes. Chestnut hair that went in every direction. He was really hot. And he used to be really nice. The perfect guy, right?
He looks over cautiously at the other girls, and he speaks calmly. "Could you girls please... um... leave?" They all look at each other and then look at me, but I was smiling as to make sure that Dmitri didn't suspect anything.

"Okay." Scout replies with the I-told-you-so tone, which made Dmitri confused.

"Hey." He says walking over to my bed. "I missed you." I shuffled over a little bit, so that I was further away from him. "Tea, what have I done?" He asks in his annoyed tone, and I glare at him in disbelief. "Oh." He says, and his face dropped. "You know, don't you?"

"Know what?" I ask sarcastically.

"Look, I'm sorry, I-"

"I don't want to hear it. Shut up." I snap, and I turn my phone on. Suddenly, it vibrates.

Mysterious Corbyn

Today at 5:38pm

Hey, I seem to have lost my dog tag necklace.

I think I lost it at Atlantic Records, would you happen to have seen it?

Just as I was about to reply, Dmitri leans towards me and grabs a dog tag. "What's this?" He asked, fiddling with it in his hand. "Why Don't We?"
"Don't touch it." I wack his hand away, and he glares at me. He then shrugs it off and lays back on my bed.

"Look, I know what you did, and I'm over it! Can you please leave?" I yell, but a blank expression remains on his face. "Dmitri!" I stand up, seriously thinking of hurting him. He throws one of my pillows at me.

"Calm down, it's no big deal." He laughs.

"No big deal?" I say in disbelief. Suddenly, his eyes turn stone-grey as he picks up a dog tag necklace.

Jonah's dog tag necklace- the one I had left underneath my pillow.

"Who does this belong to?" He sits up and holds the necklace in front of his face.

"That's none of your business." I say, then reaching for the necklace he was holding. "Give it back, you jerk!" He kept throwing it around, and my anger raged through me, and I suddenly had the courage to slap this boy in the face. The noise of my hand colliding with his cheek was an incredible sound.

"What the hell was that for!?" He yells and stands up, throwing the dog tag onto the floor. He walks towards me until I'm pinned to the wall and I could feel his body against mine.

"Go away." I say, my voice shaking. He gives me a look that makes me shiver, and he bends down and picks up my phone. While he was doing that, I ran over to the door.

"Who's Corbyn?" He asked, looking annoyed.

"Give my phone back!" I yell, walking up to him and kicking him in the stomach. My phone went flying, but I caught it before it fell on the floor, and I picked Jonah's dog tag up, and my purse, and I bolted out of the bedroom.

As I ran hurriedly down the stairs, all the girls were looking at me curiously. But I ignored them, and sprinted out the front door. I quickly opened my purse, reaching for the keys. I unlocked the car, jumping into it and starting the ignition. I slammed the door behind me, and I turned around just in time to see Dmitri limping angrily out of our front door.

However, he was too slow to catch me.

I kept driving, until the traffic came to a slow. I grabbed out my phone and quickly typed in the name I needed to call.

The phone rang, but he picked up after one second.

"Hey Tea, what's up?"

"I'm so sorry Corbyn, and I know we barely know each other, but I need help. Would I be able to stay at your place for a bit?"
