10 - Kim Taehyung

Liz's sound sleep was disturbed by a loud laugh of Kim Taehyung. She saw him talking to his phone again.

Kim Taehyung:
"Oh, she's awake."

She watched him moved towards her and handed down the phone. It was her phone. She accidentally left it in her apartment after getting away from her neighbors that surrounded her unit.

Liz:
"Hello?"

The call suddenly ended. Her phone's battery was dead.

Liz:
"Oh, snap."

Kim Taehyung was about to go out from the room but she called him and told him to sit for a while.

Liz:
"Uhmm, when will Mr. Kim come back from Russia?"

Taehyung just shrugged his shoulders. He didn't know either.

Kim Taehyung:
"Sometimes he'd be back after a month, five months or maybe a year."

Liz was a bit disappointed. She then just nodded.

Liz:
"Ahhh, if you don't mind - uhm, how are you related to Mr. Kim?"

The young man crossed his legs and smiled politely.

Kim Taehyung:
"Nothing I guess. Ahmmm a very distant relative? Well my grandfather told me Seokjin hyung is part of our bloodline. I knew him since I was 6. But I didn't see him yet that time. Well, he used to send me letters when he was in Moscow. I finally met him when I was 18. I'm 23 years old now. And my name is Kim Taehyung."

Liz smiled at her while sitting on the bed. She felt weird, though. She wasn't used to seeing a man in front of her as soon as she wake up. But just yesterday, a man named Jung Hoseok with his bright smile told her that she would be moving to a new home. And that morning, she woke up with a cute dongsaeng in front of her.

Liz:
"Call me noona, then :)"

Kim Taehyung giggled and nodded.

Liz:
"Where were you, last night?"

She wanted to tell him about the man who broke the glass window but it seemed that the young man would most definitely not care about it. He even left her alone inside.

Kim Taehyung:
"I went home. I don't live here, noona."

Liz just nodded.

Alone. Living alone.

Liz:
"About the broken window-"

He seemed had no idea about it. But she's telling him anyway.

Kim Taehyung:
"Which window? I'll have it fixed later."

Liz knitted her eyebrows. He didn't see it?

Liz:
"The second floor's window."

Kim Taehyung also knitted his eyebrows.

Kim Taehyung:
"There's no broken window outside. Noona, you are on the second floor of this house right now. And I didn't see any broken window at all."

Liz rushed outside her room and checked on the same window the man broke to get inside. She was sure she wasn't dreaming when she witnessed it. She rubbed her eyes and slapped herself.

Liz:
"Ouch -_-"

Kim Taehyung followed him and laughed. He was on his phone again talking to someone.

Kim Taehyung:
"Hyung-nim's fiancé is totally weird. Hey, wanna hang out?"

Liz smirked and just watched him going down the stairs. Then she looked at the window again. There's no way it was fixed so fast. Or was she just dreaming?

Liz:
"I'm sure someone broke that window last night."
