46 - Remembered

Liz:
"Elizabeth d-didn't d-die?"

Jin wanted to held her hands but she pulled herself away from her.
Liz:
"Stop the lies, Mr. Kim! Just tell me truth! Tell me!"

Jin had no choice. She had to know one way or the other.

Jin:
"Elizabeth never died. You never did."

Liz knitted her eyebrows.

Liz:
"So ~ I am Elizabeth?"

Jin nodded.

Liz:
"I am - i am an immortal?"

Jin nodded.

Liz was in too much disbelief. How come? Why?

Then Jin's eyes were in tears.

Liz wanted to wipe them away. But again, she chose not to.

Jin:
"After son, ART, died ~ you banished into nowhere. I wasn't as wealthy as I am during that painful time. But I tried my best to look for you."

Liz wouldn't believe him.

Jin:
"And so after a year of not being with you, people we both knew were suspicious. I never stopped from looking for you. I searched everywhere here in Russia. But I had not seen either your shadow. And so to stop the people from all their queries, I had this grave built. And told people from our neighborhood about your illness. I had no choice, Elizabeth!"

Liz's hands were trembling.

Jin:
"And after 13 years of the Moon's Son's silence, he came back to kill me. He blamed me for loosing you. He blamed me for your disappearance."

Liz:
"Why did Elizabeth leave you?"

Jin sighed.

Jin:
"She said that our son's death was too much for her to handle. She said she was scared by the curse the moon had given me. She said she couldn't bear the responsibility. She couldn't bear the pain."

Liz:
"She was a coward ~ "

But Jin shook his head.

Jin:
"You were just scared."

Liz said nothing.

Jin:
"And on that day when the moon's son appeared before me for the first time in 13 years, he killed me. I was revived for the second time. But all I wished was for me to just die."

Liz felt the pain Jin was feeling inside.

Jin:
"Kim Mingyu ~ he helped me look for you. He - I know he loves you. And with his power and abilities, I am helpless compared to him. So I strove hard while I still live. To became the wealthy man I am today was for me to see you. But another years had passed, still no trace of you."

Liz knitted her eyebrows. Where was she? Where did her old self go?

Liz:
"Where did I go?"

Liz closed his eyes. She wanted to remember everything. She wanted to remember everything from her past.

And as she was closing her eyes, Jin caught her by his arms and kissed her lips.

The kiss he longed to have after decades of missing her. After years and years of waiting.

Liz felt like she fell into a deep sleep. But she could feel the kiss with Mr. Kim.
