41 - Min Yoongi

Dr. Kim Namjoon smiled at Shin Liz while putting his stethoscope inside his bag.

Liz:
    "Thank you, Doctor."

Namjoon nodded. And all of a sudden, Kim Mariz barged inside the room where Kim Seokjin was.

Mariz:
    "What happened to my brother? Is he okay?"

Liz didn't say a thing. But as soon as Mariz saw Kim Namjoon, she was purely shocked by his presence.

Mariz:
    "Dr. Kim? Hi ~ "

The doctor smiled at the woman. And that's when Liz realized that the man she saw from Mariz's phone (back at the boat) was the doctor himself.

Dr. Kim Namjoon:
    "Ohh, Miss Kim! What a surprise! So, you know Mr. Kim?"

Mariz smiled while nodding.

Mariz:
   "He's my brother. I didn't know you are his doctor."

Namjoon:
   "I met him at Russia 2 years ago. And we've been friends since then."

Mariz:
    "Uhh-okay."

Liz cleared her throat. Like yeah, she got that. The two were into each other. And Mariz obviously had a thing for the doctor.

Liz caught their attention. Then she smiled at them.

Liz:
   "I found some boxes of tea at the kitchen's counter. Maybe the doctor wants some."

Mariz looked at Liz. Then to the sleeping Kim Seokjin.

Liz:
   "Your brother is okay. I'm here to take care of him :)"

Mariz smiled and nodded.

Mariz:
   "Thanks, Liz."

Then she went out with the doctor to have some tea.

Liz looked around the room. Kim Mingyu was nowhere to be foubd after Min Yoongi and her carried Kim Seokjin to the room.

She sat on the bed and held Mr. Kim's hand.

Liz:
   "Please wake up, Mr. Kim."

But the man was still sound asleep. Then Liz heard knocks on the door.

Min Yoongi came inside with the same notebook on his hand.

He sat on the chair and scanned the pages of the notebook.

Min Yoongi:
   "Okay, Miss Shin ~ Let's start from the day you went away with Mr. Kim. I'm referring to that day after the bloody war."

Liz nodded. Finally, answers to her queries were finally be given.

Min Yoongi:
    "The two of you traveled to Gangnam with high hopes of a peaceful life. Sure you had one."

Liz stopped Min Yoongi by waving her hand.

Liz:
    "What do yoy mean the two of us? I'm telling you again. I am not the Myeong Elizabeth you guys are talking about."

The man with a name of Min Yoongi wore his eye glasses and sighed in disbelief.

Min Yoongi:
   "We'll get there. But for now, you have to listen to me. I'm paid low for this extra sh*t so ~ "

Liz:
   "Fine." *rolling her eyes

Then Min Yoongi flipped another page and started reading again.

Min Yoongi:
   "The two of you got married and after a year- "

Liz stood and grabbed the notebook from Min Yoongi.

Liz:
   "Get married? Us? We were married?"

Then to her disbelief, there was nothing written on the pages. Not even a single dot.

Liz:
   "Are you making fun of me? There's nothing here!"

Min Yoongi slowly stood and took back the notebook from her. Then he sat again and opened the same page of the notebook.

Liz:
   "Hold on ~ how could you pretend that you're reading something when there's nothing written on the notebook?"

Min Yoongi glanced at Liz. He looked so annoyed.

Min Yoongi:
   "I only have 3 hours to read all these things to you."

Liz knitted her eyebrows. Like what on earth was that man talking about?

Did he mean he could actually read from an empty pages?

Liz had no choice but to listen to him.

Min Yoongi:
   "So again, the two of you became husband and wife. And after a year, you two had a son."

Liz's eyes widened. And yes she saw on the picture how Elizabeth held a child with Mr. Kim beside her.

Min Yoongi:
   "The reason why Mr. Kim kept on going back to Russia is because your son is there too. Along with your dead body."

Liz choked as her legs feel numb.

Liz:
   "My dead body????"
