The Immortal + Marrying A Kim (SeokJin) [BTS]

39 - Immortality

Liz knitted her eyebrows. Then she grabbed the journal back from Jin.

Liz:
   "I wanna know how you - "

Jin:
   "Became an immortal?"

Liz nodded.

All of a sudden, Kim Mingyu appeared inside the room. He was holding a sword as he smiled to Liz.

Kim Mingyu:
   "You made him an immortal, my sweet Elizabeth."

Liz was confused to what he was saying. She knew that Myeong Elizabeth married Kim Seokjin and that they had a son. But she didn't read any note that stated she wad the reason why Seokjin was still alive for 170 years.

Liz:
   "What are you trying to say?"

Jin crossed his arms and looked at Mingyu.

Jin:
   "You talk too much, Moon's son."

Liz:
   "No. Please tell me."

Mingyu smiled.

Mingyu:
   "When he died in your embrace, the rain stopped from pouring. But the thunder and lightning  continued to take part to the lives of people taken away by this man."

Jin:
   "I only did it to save Elizabeth."

Mingyu:
   "But you didn't save her. You brought her to misery. When she decided to marry and live with you, I knew she wouldn't be happy. Because you were greedy. Your hands were stained by blood. And you couldn't grow old with her."

Liz looked at Jin. She was confused and she didn't want to believe to whatever she heard. But she had to.

Liz:
   "So tell me. How did you become an immortal?"

Elizabeth hugged Seokjin tight as she despised the moon and cursed at it. She was blaming the moon on Seokjin's death. The death of her parents and the lives of other people.

Elizabeth:
  "Come back to life, Mr. Kim. Please let him come back to life."

Kim Mingyu was completely shattered from what she wanted. It was as if he never wanted to exist not his shadow.

And so he disappeared.

The nightsky became clear. The stars were all bright and the loud roaring of thunders and flashes of the lightnings disappeared.

Elizabeth looked at the moon. It turned red. Angry red. For she knew it never liked the way she questioned him.

And as it gets brighter and brighter, the red color dominated the surface of the sky.

And Kim Seokjin was fully revived.

Seokjin:
   "I'm awake."

Elizabeth hugged him tight. She felt too much happiness in her heart.

But what she didn't know was the life given to Kim Seokjin was in equivalent to a curse of forever.

A curse he would suffer from. A curse given by the moon. A curse asked by Elizabeth.

Liz:
   "You have a son with Elizabeth."

Jin nodded.

Jin:
    "His name is ART."

Liz wanted to know more about him. His fondness in her heart towards the boy on the picture would then be gratified if she would be seeing him.

Liz:
   "Mr. Kim. Please take me to your son."

Jin:
   "Our son."

Liz smirked.

Liz:
   "I am not Elizabeth."

Mingyu smiled at her.

Mingyu:
   "Yes you are."

Liz:
   "I am not! I know I am I'm not an immortal! So how could I be alive til now?"

Jin moved towards her.

Jin:
    "Don't be scared, Elizabeth."

Liz shook her head.

Liz:
   "I am not Elizabeth ~ "
