23 - Movie

Liz realized how crazy her answer was. She immediately snapped out of his fantasizing thoughts and smiled big.

Liz:
   "Your time. Uhmm- I was just thinking that we could bond like watch a movie together, or a walk in the park. Just normal couples do. Hehe, right?"

Jin smiled and nodded.

Jin:
   "Right. I agree, Miss Shin."

Then she felt her hand being gripped by the man in front of her. She followed him as he made his way to the kitchen with his hands pulling her softly.

Jin:
   "Let's cook for dinner then we'll watch a  movie. How's that?"

She nodded as she  watched him smiling at her.

Jin:
  "Pasta?"

Liz let go of his hand and grabbed the packed uncooked noodles from the cabinet.

Liz:
   "Spaghetti."

After they had their dinner, Jin made some pop corns while Liz was washing the dishes.

Jin:
   "Cheese ~"

But Liz shook her head.

Liz:
   "Sour cream."

Jin just shrugged his shoulders and obeyed what Liz wanted.

They're preferences where sort of different.

While having dinner, they talkes mostly of their preferences.

It was all proven how they were not alike.

The two sat on the couch of the multimedia room. Leaving a space between them, she tried not to make things awkward.

Jin:
   "Classic romantic movie."

But again, she disagreed.

Liz:
   "Modern."

She watched him sigh in disbelief. But she's dominant in what she wanted to do with him. That included how she was the one holding the bowl of popcorns.

But they ended up watching Romeo and Juliet  because that's the only familiar movie Liz could see on the pile of tapes in the room. The rest were very ~ black and white.

Old. Very old.

And just seemed like Jin  anticipated that she'd be crying while watching the movie, he handed Liz with a box of tissue.

She was blowing her nose off without caring what would Mr. Kim think of. All that mattered to her was the drama and her tears that wouldn't stop from falling.

Jin suddenly wrapped his arms around her shoulders and pulled her close to him. He let her head rest on his chest while caressing her hair.

Liz stopped from crying. She was flustered by what Jin did.

Jin:
   "From now on, feel comfortable with my presence, Miss Shin."

Liz felt his sincerity. And that meant she shouldn't be holding back anything that she wanted to say, do and feel for him.

Then she started crying again and that made Jin smile.

Jin:
   "You are sensitive as expected, Miss Shin."

The movie ~ he read the book alreadt  for a couple of times that he couldn't anymore remember the number. And the movie, 18 times to be exact.

He watched it alone yet he would never cry. But that night was different. In his arms was a woman shedding tears for a love story that was ended by death.

A tragic death.

Liz woke up from a nightmare.

Mr. Kim was covered by his own blood while she was standing in front of him.

She gasped for breath and her eyes widened.

Jin was soundly sleeping on the bed.

Beside her.
