"And I thought I had a messed up family," I heard Astrid mutter under her breath.
I stepped forward, but Rogue growled. What?
"Oh, don't you think Rogue looks good in Armor?" Silvio slipped off of Rogue with ease.
"How?" I don't believe this, this isn't real. It can't be real.
"It was the plan really. Get attached to the target, fake her death. She's always been able to absorb energy, molecules, atoms around her. That's what makes the Lighting Shade. Her top ability makes her an unbeatable asset, and it just so happens that Stoick killed her Mother right in front of her. So why not return the favor?" Silvio smirked as her hands traced the silver lines that graced Rogues back.
"She killed Stoick," I mumble in realization. It would make sense if Rogue can absorb the energy Toothless did no real damage. So how did she kill him? He was pronounced dead at the-.
Oh.
Of course. She can absorb the energy, but she didn't stop her body from being thrown into an icicle with Stoick in between.
He was killed on impact.
"Yes I did, and then I slowed my heartbeat, making it unreadable to any human, not that you came back," a voice as smooth as silk traveled through the now clear air.
The rain slowed to a stop and the clouds moved away showing the moon as it lit the area around us. In the back leaning against a tree sat my two brothers, one caught my eye and smirked.
"You can speak," I stare in pure shock, I guess all that time she really could speak back in my native tongue.
"One of my many abilities," she stood on two, and shrunk drastically, she was replaced by a girl, no a women.
"Victoria?" I question in disbelief.
"Duh," she rolled her eyes. Hiccup and I had known Victoria for about 3 years, then when I was 13 she left without a trace.
"You've been my dragon for 4 years?" This is not true. It's not true. It can't be.
"Yes, and to be honest you are the worst dragon rider and friend," she snapped angered.
"Oh yeah, you have terrible friends," Astrid whispered.
"Yeah, they're great," I sarcastically remark, first emotion I've shown in 4 and a half months.
"Enough with the chit-chat, I'm sure you're very amazed Astrid but if I even think you've spoken a word to anyone I will murder everyone you love and I'll do so gladly," Victoria winked before gripping onto me and pulling me towards Silvio.
She whistled a tune and moments later, the great Toruk appeared huge in size causing trees to fall off onto the side.
The cliff!
Of course, now only for the right moment. A rope is tied around my arms that are now pulled back. My brothers help my mother onto her dragon and Victoria watches them. Taking my chance, I push her to the ground and run towards the cliff. Taking a deep breath I jump, this was the only way to ensure the safety of Berk.
Accepting everything was short lived as instead of falling I lifted high in the sky claws holding onto the rope around my hands. I'm flipped over and onto a back of a Night Fury.
"Which one is this?" I question wanting to know which one of my twins had me.
"Luke Savage Dragoart," my brother answered with ease as his red eyes changed to a light soft blue.
"Considering you're not the one who creeps me out, I'll stick to you," I mumble as we follow the dragon riders farther and farther away from the place I've grown comfortable too.
"Good," was all I heard before I leaned back, keeping my legs on his saddle securely. I guess I trusted him because I instantly fell asleep.
