Chapter 14

In just 4 days, I could feel the atmosphere change. Luke was able to visit me for more than 10 minutes and that let me know Silvio left.

"You're mom's not going to hesitate to kill you," Luke whispered to me as I dodged oncoming attacks from him. This training session was horrible, I couldn't even deliver my own attacks except for maybe combat, but Luke kept me at a distance.

"Luke you know I can't through a plasmablast to save my own life," I mumbled in annoyance, snapping me back to reality, the wood I was hiding under busts into splinters.

"Crap," pushing myself up, I run to the metal overhang. I pulled myself up and over, how did he find me in less than 60 seconds? All dragons have senses greater than man, but he's a Koino Plasma, meaning his senses double. As well as his strength. There has to be something I can do, my only weakness is water, but he can use that against me. Does he have one?

I can barely hear his footsteps, but he's close. Time to move, he gave me all my weapons, so I can distract him, but his skin is near indestructible especially as a Night Fury. My plasmablast is a mix of fire and lightning, well it would be if I knew how to work them. I groan in protest, and then move jumping from the railing to the ground and rolling to another spot.

"She will find you," Luke's voice elevated through the room.

"Yes I will," light pours through the roof.

"BOOM!" Metal flies into every direction, lava falling from the ceiling. A scorched piece finds its way onto my arm.

I struggle to brush it off, but the more I move, the more it sinks into my skin. Finally I take a deep breath, and lift my hand, I pull it out causing a deranged whimper to fall out my mouth. That's probably one of the worst pains I've felt so far.

"Mother," Luke gasped and looked down, realizing his mistake and what the near future will bring him.

"Get them both," Silvio grins as Victoria grabs onto Luke, and Venom grips onto my forearm, bruises are definitely going to show.

Silvio walks through the fallen doom, metal shards everywhere, some melting, some lit with fire, and others act as claws as I'm dragged through the debri. Dragon's surround the now red sky, the moon is slightly falling, but that doesn't mean it's a good thing. Without the moon, there's no balance with the sun because all of the clouds are gone and turned into fog. That's really reassuring to know my mother's bad energy is affecting the earth and the entire galaxy, I mean it's not like the sun and moon have anything to do with the weather, oh wait. Snow falls in blizzards and yet here we are as the ground is packed with ice. I keep my mouth shut and my body together, to not show I'm shivering. She would surely mock me.

"Man this day has gotten a lot more exciting don't you think?" She pulls out a long sword, and slightly places it on my cheek, then moves on, leaving only a scratch. The blood freezes right on my face, man this is gonna be a long day.

POV_CHANGE

Venom winked at me, and honestly, I could care less. Now, Luke, he was about to be killed. That's a big problem. I pull my hood up and arms close as the sun falls away and the moon overpowers, bringing more snow. Whatever's happening definitely has something to do with Silvio. I remember reading a book, about Dyo Plasmata's, each one has this specific gift to help keep the world in balance. Sapphire is being overpowered by her mother and twin. I knew Luke was helping her from the get-go, but if I went, Silvio would have found out sooner. So I stayed put obeying her orders. It was hard don't get me wrong, but as I said before I did them without question. I may not remember much about myself, but I do know I'm not one to follow orders without asking questions. I mean Hiccup and Sapphire did rub off on me just a bit. I realize that know.

"Well, you know what happens to traitors!" Silvio lifted up her sword, I tried to step forward but something held me back.

Luke looks down accepting what's coming for him, Venom looks to his brother with disgust, but I look to Sapphire. Her eyes move back in forth between me, Venom, and Silvio. I slightly tilt my head, then making a quick decision, she stood and ran throwing herself at her mother knocking the sword 3 feet away from them.

"You little brat!" Outraged Silvio stands to pull out her own sword, Sapphire moves quickly watching her mother's moves.

Silvio wings, but Sapphire lifts her hands up, breaking the rope that once hung around her arms. Then dodges to the right, into a tuck roll position.

A hoarse cough racks through Silvio's chest, "Toruk!" She yells running towards the edge and then jumping. The red dragon catches her right before she plummets to her death.

She flies high into the dark sky, then with her spear she points to Sapphire. The Toruk prepares to fire, and so do the other dragons following the Toruk.

Then, I hear it, almost like an echo, it shakes the ground. Then a shadow flies above us and then with lightning, the great Toruk is thrown of the sky.

"Yes!" Hiccup. Of course, he's here.

Venom moves forward, but without a thought, I run towards him throwing him to the side.

"Oooh, little Victoria making decisions on her own now?" Venom teases as he stands.

"Oh yea, you best be scared," I smirk, as I run towards him, and a fight begins.

POV_HICCUP

Something told me to fly through the whole.

"Astrid!" I yelled from my room.

"Yes!?" She runs in breathless.

"Get the others," I stand to grab my helmet.

"Yes sir," She mumbles walking back down the stairs.

I grab my Journal before leaving my room. The door bursts open, the twins come rushing in, Fishlegs and Snotlout behind them. Eret stood calmly near his dragon, the snow building up around him.

"Remember that hole I told you guys about?" I ask the group as they huddled around there dragons.

"Yeah,"

"Yep,"

"Of course,"

"Well, I was looking at it today, and a few dragons flew through it. I think we need to go through it," I announced my thoughts.

"What about the village?" Astrid asked me.

"I'll leave Gobber in charge," I responded picking the next big thing. Mom may have still been getting used to the crowd of people who lived in Berk.

"Sounds good, meet at the stone hall?" Eret questioned.

"5 minutes," I look to everyone, letting them know this was important, so grab everything. Everything you need.

"Hiccup," Everyone leaves but Astrid.

"Yes?" I asked my girlfriend as I looked at her, really looked at her. There was one emotion, I had never seen her before, she was scared.

"What if, what's on the other side of that hole, we can't beat it?" She looks down nervously fidgeting.

"We have the best dragons yet and we have each other," I try to brag lifting up the mood.

"How?" She questions truly scared, she looks to me.

"Together," I smile as I pull her in for a hug, a much-needed hug.

And meet we did.

Only then did I realize why everything's happening the way it was.
