The steps to this dance is making Kwon Soonyoung's head hurt.

He shares this thought to Jisoo as he texts him during their break between practice.

Soonyoung puts his phone down, seems like Jisoo won't be replying any time soon, and he runs his hands through his hair as he waits for their mentor to call them for another round of practice.

The practice room he sits in is lined with mirrors that are floor to ceiling tall, and he sits against one side as he watches his colleagues dance to famous EDM songs with spontaneous steps, just having some fun while they wait.

Observing his co-dancers made Soonyoung decide to have his own fun, so he plugged his earphones in and played their performance song in order to recall the steps, maybe add a few new ones on the way. This activity wouldn't be considered as 'fun' for anybody else, but Soonyoung enjoys dancing and re-dancing to songs he co-choreographed; despite his rant to Jisoo earlier.

He counts the beat at the intro of the song and begins to dance when the lyrics start, snapping his body along to the syllables of the artist's singing.

At one moment, the voice of the singer begins to get sultry, accompanied by muted tunes of a saxophone, and Soonyoung stops. This was where they finished choreographing earlier.

Soonyoung listens to the part over and over again, trying to make movements that are better suited for it, but everything he does just doesn't cut it. It's either too tame, or too extreme, not fitting at all.

Frustrated, he removes his earphones and wipes at the sweat on his brows, deciding to wait for their mentor instead in order to discuss more suitable steps. Fortunately for him, their mentor comes in only moments later.

"All right, everyone!" She calls out, clapping her hands, "get up, get up. Let's pick up where we left off!"

Soonyoung does as he's told and takes position in the center of the formation-being a senior in the dance team earned him more than enough right to be in his position right now-and the other dancers follow.

Their mentor presses play and the music begins, and just like earlier, Soonyoung counts the beat at the intro of the song and dances when the lyrics start; this time, though, he has his colleagues behind him, gaining formation and switching positions every now and then.
