Errands?

I continue to look out the window at the buildings and trees that pass us by, and I continue to remember how, after just yesterday morning, I had to live outside, in a corner somewhere, somewhere cold and damp, somewhere hidden behind a building somewhere so I felt secure or safe. And then I remembered that I don't have to worry about that anymore. For now, at least.

We chose to go wherever Ben wanted to go first, since having food in the back of the car for a long time would probably spoil or something if it was there for too long.

Ben pulls out a CD holder and unzips it, takes out a disk and slides it into the car radio.

I immediately hear a familiar tune, and my ears perk up as I shoot my head forward, and I see Ben smiling widely.

"I knew you'd remember" Ben laughs insanely.

"DUUUH" I smile a huge smile, and I start head banging, Ben still in laughter.

"Load up our guns, bring your friends, it's fun to lose, and to pretend" Ben and I sing together like we did in high school to this song, and Rhiannon laughs as she tries to control the car.

"Shes over board, and self assured, oh no, I know a dirty word"

"HELLO HELLO HELLO HOW LOW, HELLO HELLO HELLO HOW LOW, HELLO HELLO HELLO HOW LOW, HELLO HELLO HELLO" Me and Ben start screaming out and people start to stare at us through the window like we are insane as we pass by.

"WHEN THE LIGHTS OUT, ITS LESS DANGEROUS!!!! HERE WE ARE NOW, ENTERTAIN US! I WAS STUPID, AND CONTAGIOUS!! HERE WE ARE NOW, ENTERTAIN US!! A MOLLATO, AN ALBINO!! A MUSQUITO, MY LOBITO! HEY!!"

Ben flips to face me and I laugh

"EEY" We both say at the same time, and Rhiannon snorts, as she was laughing a bit too hard for her to handle.

"EEEY"

Sooner than we knew it we pulled into a mall, a bit too soon because we weren't even able to listen to the second verse because Rhiannon parked and turned off the car.

"Awww" I laugh, and we all jump out of the car.

I follow Rhiannon and Ben towards the main entrance, the huge building seemed to scare me with the amount of people fitted into it.

"They don't know, right?" I mumble as I ask either one of them.

Ben looks down, and shakes his head.

"just don't mention it and it will be completely fine, no one here really keeps track of things anyway"

I nod my head, and we go inside.

The crisp, fall air disappears as a burst of heat came through the door.

Ben looks around, and soon enough he points a direction and we all follow his lead.

"First of all, we need to get you clothes that actually fit" Ben looks at me and my huge Nirvana shirt that I was practically was swimming in, and then snorts.

I roll my eyes, and laugh a little.

"You don't need to, at all. I only need the clothing I have. They just need a bit of fixing and then I'll be good."

Rhiannon raises an eyebrow.

"Lara, you can't go ANYWHERE in those rags!"

I laugh, "But I want to go to the ball, evil stepmother!"

Ben rolls his eyes, "Come on, you know I'm more stubborn than you" He stuck his tongue out at me as he turns back forward and walks towards the clothes store.
