Broken Wings

Woo Woo!

They all came just in time, almost all at once. Including Rhiannon.

Rhiannon came inside with her hands full of take out food from the grocery store down the street, and quickly placing the food onto the kitchen table. Keith held the door for everyone as Aaron came in with 2 liters of soda.

Shaun came in holding everyone's bags.

"Guys!" Ben jumped up from the spot on the couch next to me.

Rhiannon walked up to Shaun to grab the bags from him, and Ben gave Shaun a bro hug.

Keith came in, and waved at me.

"Nice to see you, Lara" Keith smiled at me, and I smiled back and waved.

Aaron comes up from behind Keith at the kitchen table and goes to Ben, who was greeting everyone.

I entered the kitchen to try to help Rhiannon, who was fumbling around to try to find plates and forks.

"This place is much more crowded than I thought it would" I laughed, and Rhiannon laughed and nodded nervously.

"Let's just say this place was not meant to hold more than 3 people." She smiled at me as she turned around to get arm fulls of cups.

"Uh, is there anything I can do for you?"

She placed the cups on the table, and stood there for a moment.

"Yea, actually, can you ask what everyone wants to drink?"

"Of course!" I look at the 2 liters on the table.

Dr. Pepper and Mtn Dew.

Alright.

"Aaron!" I squeeze past Shaun and Jason, and met Aaron on the other side of the living room, who was chatting with Ben still.

"huh?" He turns to face me, and Ben looks at me too.

"Do you like Dr. Pepper or Mtn Dew?"

"The Mtn Dew, please."

"Could I get some Dr. P?" Ben asks me, and I nod.

"Thanks, Lara."

I squeeze back through into the kitchen, and got two glasses and filled them up with the requested drinks.

"Jason!! Keith!"

"Yea?" Keith and Jason practically said at the same time.

"Dr. P or Mtn Dew?"

"Dr. P!" Jason yelled back, while Keith said, "Mtn Dew!"

I got out three more cups, and filled two more with Dr. P and Mtn Dew.

"Shaun!"

"Mtn Dew!"

I filled up the last cup and set them all on the table.

I filled up my own cup with Dr. P and placed it on the table, too.

"Rhiannon? What do you want?"

"Dont worry about mine, Ill get my own. Thank you!" She smiled at me as she squeezed past me, placing 2 plates on the table.

I sighed and grabbed two more plates and put them on the table.

"One.. Two.. Three.." Rhiannon mumbled, pointing at everyone.

"I always forget how much people come when Ben invites everyone from work over." Rhiannon loom at me and furrowed her eyebrows, but laughed and kept counting.

"Holy crap!" Rhiannon said out loud, surprised.

I helped her set up the rest of the table, and then Rhiannon called them all to sit on the table.
