HEY! PLEASE DONT PLAY THE VIDEO ABOVE UNTIL THEY START SINGING FOR THE BEST EFFECT! LOL, THANKS YEEEWW

"So, what do ya wanna hear?" Aaron said, positioning his guitar on his lap. Everyone now has their things ready to play.

"I don't know, I don't know any of your songs!"

Ben smirked a little.

"I'm feeling like We Are Not Alone is gonna be a good album to start her off."

"Why can't we start at the VERY start? Saturate?"

"Well, Lara?"

"I don't know! What's the difference?"

"Well, Saturate's a bit harder than We Are Not Alone. But not much of a difference."

"Uhm"

"Just pick random, Lara." Shaun said as he repositioned in his seat uncomfortably.

"We Are Not Alone, I guess," I said. It called to me, sort of.

"Isn't that the one with the bald dude with his hands on his head?"

"Yea, how did you know?"

I laughed nervously, "Long story."

"Okay. Song?"

Ben sat up and started playing.

"Simple Design, anyone?"

"Isn't that a louder song?"

"Yea. I just feel like doing it."

I sat up straight to give my attention.

"Ok. Ready, and," Aaron said aloud, and then everyone started almost at once.

I jumped a little at the loud noise, and it shook the room a little.

Both Aaron and Ben did a death growl, and I was extremely shocked at how both of them could do it. I didn't expect them to.

"I live a chemical life, I'm on a mission to try, you went insane for a day, I'll have to shove it away. My only option is gone, smile as they break and they fall. You want a simpler life, you can't erase what was mine!" Ben sang aloud. He was amazing as always.

My eyes widened. I loved it.

"You must be out of your mind! This was a simple design! You fuck it up every time. How could you leave me behind?"

Keith and Ben sang as a melody, "It's alright, it's alright"

"Cuz' I know what you want, but you'll just have to wait. If I had it to give, I would give it away. I'm living it up, while I'm falling from grace, there's no way! There's no way! That I'm running away!"

Chills ran through me, "Holy shit!" They were amazing!

Ben smiled and then kept head banging as he played.

"Im used to making it worse, made up of four letter words. You wanna know what it was? Now isolated and gone."

"You fall apart at the seams, I'll never know what it means. Try not to pull it apart, you're aiming straight for the heart!"

I start nodding my head along with them. I was really getting into it.

"You must be out of your mind! This was a simple design! You fuck it up every time. How could you leave me behind?"

Keith and Ben sang again, "It's alright, it's alright"

"Cuz' I know what you want, but you'll just have to wait. If I had it to give, I would give it away. In living it up, while I'm falling from grace. There's no way, there's no way! That I'm running away!"

Everything started to calm down, and less of a rock tone, and more like a 90s soft tone.

Ben closed his eyes, "It had to be, the worst for me. I don't know what to say so let me be."

Chills ran through me all over again.

"And now I find, you left me behind! I don't know what to say so nevermind!"

The rock sound started up slowly but surely.

Ben took a deep breath.

"You're mine!!" He belted it out, and it gave me pretty intense chills.

The rock sound was finally back again, and I head banged along to it.

"Cuz' I know what you want, but you'll just have to wait. If I had it to give, I would give it away. I'm living it up, while I'm falling from grace. There's no way, there's no way! That I'm running away!"

"There's no way, there's no way! That I'm running away!"

"There's no way! There's no way! That I'm running away." They started to finish, and I started to clap.

Ben and Aaron did ANOTHER death growl, and then finished the song.

I clapped for them, "That was so awesome!!"

"You seriously like it? Or is it just because you don't wanna be rude."

I laughed, "Hell no! Look at these goosebumps!" I showed them my arms for proof, and they kind of laughed a little.

"Awesome, man. You got yourself an awesome friend, Ben." Jason said, and kind of punched Ben in the shoulder. Ben looked at him and smiled as he took the compliment.

"Thanks, man."

I smiled. The music really got me in a good mood, which was a pretty rare occasion for me.

"I feel like doing something now. What can we do?" I jumped up and grabbed my glass of water and took a big gulp of it.

"Uh, not much here to do. We can go somewhere?" Ben said as he looked around.

"Oo!" Keith jumped up.

"Where do ya wanna go?"

I slowly turned my head back at them.

"I have absolutely no idea. Do we need to go anywhere?"

It took them a while for someone to answer, "I gotta go get a new amp cord, it's actually getting worn out." Aaron said as he unplugged a cord from a huge speaker, and he squinted as he looked closely at the plug.

"Yep. It's gonna need to be replaced sooner than I thought. I knew about it before but I guess I never had time."

"Well, there's a pretty cool place down the street on Main. It's got better stuff than the place at the mall. Cheaper too." Ben said as he walked into his bedroom to put his guitar away.

"Well, we might as well go." Shaun jumped up and put his drumsticks back in his bag.

"I can help you guys if you want" I walked over to help Keith, but he kind of backed away.

"No, no, I'm good. It's very fragile."

I backed up a little, offended.

"Um, I'm pretty sure I remember how to carry a guitar." I look at him.

"Remember?"

"Ben started to teach me a few things on acoustic before I-" I paused myself. It was a little hard to think about those days.

Keith raised an eyebrow.

"Before.."

Ben burst into the livingroom.

"Before she graduated highschool." Ben nodded as he started to push Keith out of the living room.

"They don't know anything, Lara. Be careful." He said as he started to push me with one hand on my back out the living room, just like Keith.

"If we are gonna get to this place, we better get going. I'm not sure what time they close on the weekdays."
