We were sitting in a booth at a diner, before everything came crashing down.

Again.

I was kind of out of it during the time. Just kind of sitting there, thinking about different things like Rhiannon with her weird job hours, and if I left the coffee pot on that morning.

But out of no where that feeling struck me again. That unique feeling of anxiousness and fear that no one has ever felt before.

I turned my head quickly to see Lara, her hands holding her head.

"Lara?" Keith said, and Lara groaned loudly.

"Just let me out. Let me out." I said as calmly as I could, and they all got out of their booths as fast as they could, and I got out and started to pull on her arm, telling her to get up.

She found the strength to stand, and she leaned all of her weight on me as we go outside.

Her legs already were starting to stumble. This was NOT good.

Everyone was running behind me to the car, and I picked her up and ran to the car and swung the door open.

I had to think fast. I didn't know what to do.

"Lara, please.." I sat in the car, and she was in my lap as I held my hand against her face. It wasn't like I had super powers to give her energy. I wish I did.

Lara groaned loudly again, and tears started to stream down her face as she reached out and grasped my shoulders.

"Ben, I'm scared! Please don't leave me!" She sobbed as her grip seemed to get weaker and more desperate.

I shook my head and felt like crying as I lifted her up and I wrapped her up in a hug, to ensure comfort, but to also comfort me, too.

I was shocked at how fast this was happening.

"I wouldn't EVER leave you.. NEVER.." I said, trying to comfort her. But how much I tried, there was no more going back.

Aaron got in the car as fast as he could, starting the car up.

"Get home, as fast as you can!"

"GO WHERE??"

I cried out loud. I forgot they had no idea.

"HOME!!! GO HOME!!!"

She stopped crying, and her grip went limp. I held her against me desperately.

"WHAT??" Jason and Shaun said, like they were surprised at what I just said.

"SHE NEEDS TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL!"

"NO! GO HOME!!!" I screamed, and they went silent.

Aaron went out of the parking lot and down the highway as fast as we could.

"Why are we going home?!?" Keith said, "We need to go to the hospital!"

I felt like snarling at him.

"You have no fucking idea. NONE of you do. It's a horrible and long story. Just go!"

Aaron trusted me, and continued to hit the gas.

"I don't think that this 'story' has an excuse. She has something seriously wrong." Keith told me, and I sigh in frustration. I wanted to cry.

I looked down at Lara, who was gone. My heart skipped a beat, and I tightened my grip around her.

"I won't tell you the story without her permission. It's a HUGE deal if she even DOES give me permission."

Everyone went silent as we speed down the highway, pulling into an overpass, and turning down main street where the apartment was.

We parked, and I let one hand off of her to open the door.

Everyone got out and offered to help.

"Just go get the door. I got her." I said, and Shaun rushed towards the door with the keys to unlock the door.

Lara has always been light. It was light her weight never changed.

The 3 others followed behind me, not knowing what to do as we go into the door.

I go into her room and gently lay her down on her bed. Her room smelled of aloe, and it smelled pretty refreshing; but that wasn't my attention.

"Come on, Lara.. Get up.." I say desperately to her unconscious body, grasping onto her hand in both of mine.

"Lara.. I need you.."

"I need you.."
