It was a longer drive than you would expect, since Ben said that it would be down the road. It was at the end of Main.

"How could you mess up a plug for an aux cord?" Jason said as he jumped out.

We had JUST enough space for all of us, since there was a passenger's seat and then three other seats in the back of the car.

We go inside, and I looked around in awe at the beauty all over the place.

It smelled amazing, like fresh cut wood. The walls were decorated very nicely, with guitars and other instruments hung here and there for commercial purposes.

"Wow." I smiled.

Ben stuck close to me, "Well, I didn't know that you would like this place THAT much." He looked down and nudged me and smiled back as we followed Aaron across the room.

"Do you really remember when you would try to teach me some guitar?"

"Yea, duh. A pretty big part of our friendship there, ya know," he kept walking, and I had to speed walk to keep up, "You were one of the only people that I trusted to hold my guitar. You are one lucky lady."

I looked up at him and smirked, "Wow, I feel so accomplished. I might as well get a MVP award."

"Hey, I'm serious. My guitar was, and still is EXTREMELY important to me."

We got to a section of the place, and we started to sort through different brands of different kinds of cords.

"Would you still trust me with it? Or is it one of those 'if you forget you never remember how again' things?"

Ben raised his eyebrows and tilted his head from side to side.

"Mmmeeeh, you'll just need to be careful a few first times again, and then you'll be good."

"Do you wanna try learning again?"

I look up at him, and a burst of joy and excitement ran through me.

"Really??? Of course!! It would be just like highschool.." I smiled and closed my eyes, and I felt his smile on me.

"But you will have to start from the beginning again. And how has it changed since highschool?"

"Found it" Keith yelled out, taking a bag of two cords off of the hanger.

"Thank god!" Aaron went over to Keith and looked at the chords.

"Come on, you know how it's changed. I left, and now it's a bit awkward because it's been so long"

He looked down at me again, "I try not to make absences change my perspective over people."

"I know that, but, I as a person have changed since the last time we've seen each other. I've been through things I've never been through before."

"You've gotten tougher, is that what you mean?" He smirked as he started to walk towards the cashier register with everyone else.

"Yea, I guess you could say that." I said.

I continued to look around the store. It seemed so humble and cabin-y.

"Thank you. See ya later." We said our goodbyes to the cashier and went out to the car.

"Anyone hungry?" Shaun blurted out as he jumped into the passenger seat.

(Well fuck, I can't do math apparently.)

Everyone said different things as I let everyone get in first, but then I realized that OUT OF NO WHERE (not really lmao) I didn't have enough room. There was no seat left for me.

"Um, I can't get in."

Everyone went quiet.

"You can try to sit in the middle on the floor," Someone said, and Keith, who was sitting in the middle seat, scrunched his legs in to give me room.

I sighed. It was my only choice, and I guess you could say it was only fair, too. I was the smallest out of all of them.

"Well, Jason, could you move for a second" I asked as I waved him out of the window seat near the open door, and he jumped out so I could scoot in, and I crossed my legs on the floor of the car as Jason came cramming back into the car and shut the door.

"Well, just don't go over the speed limit and we'll be fine." Shaun said.

"Why?" Aaron looked at him.

"We don't want to get pulled over. That would be a disaster."

Aaron sighed as he put the car in reverse to get out of the parking lot.

"So, where to eat?"

Everyone looked at Ben.

"What?? God, I don't know!"

"Let's go on a random road and the first place we run into we go there" Keith said, and everyone just went along for the game he made up.
