I smiled and after a quick thought, I nodded. Switching the mic on, I sang my heart out, belting and hearing it echo through the theatre. My vocals ringing in the high acoustics. I closed my eyes, while walking across in different parts of the stage, letting my voice echo the spaces.

When I had finished the last lingering note, the two applauded me. I couldn't help to smile. They stood up in their seats cheering. It felt just like the 2nd grade talent show.

"You sang absolutely beautifully today dear."

"Thanks mom." Idina smiled as we drove to a cafe, to eat.

"Wow, what did I tell you? You're voice makes angels sing. And fly like an eagle's wings. It's special."

She laughed; "oh I remember. Thank you."

"So, how's, hmm Kristin? Kristin chenoweth? Last time I saw her it was first few months of wicked. Look how far it's come."

Idina suddenly felt frozen as if She was stuck. Nerves escaping her lips, holding back. "She's good. Always such fun at wicked."

"Aw you should bring her over to visit, sometime. We'd love to have her."

"Oh I don't know...I mean...she's a uh..busy women...", nerves and anxiety ran through her skin. Thinking of what it would be like at the dinner table. What if this, what if that. Her mother looked slightly disappointed. Idina felt bad. She shook her thoughts off her shoulders and spoke; "But I'm sure she's free one weekend off next month, She'd love to come." Idina pulled a smile, but worry spread across her face. Oh no...Kristin.
