Chapter 36 truths and lies.

Idina got through her apartment around one o clock in the morning. She was pretty exhausted from the two show day. She put down her bags and took of her shoes. The brunnete stumbled over to the kitchen and poured herself a glass of red wine that had been left out on the table.

"Bon soir."

Idina jerked for a moment, frightened by the voice. "Gods cara, you made me jump."

"Sorry. How was the show?"

"Fine." Idina replied quietly making her way over to the couch. Cara scooted over for her to sit. Cara sat drinking the sweet wine in her own glass.

"You okay dee?"

"Yeah I guess...how was shopping?"

"Uh..Great! Picked out some really nice fancy clothes at this boutique. So beautiful!"

"Nice cara, that's great."

"So...." Cara said hesitantly. She put her wine glass down on the table, before continuing.

"How's...Kristin?"

"She's good. Only complained of pain once this week so that's okay. The doctors said she healed perfectly."

"I'm so glad to hear that."

"Yeah me too."

"You alright? You came in a little ticked..."

"Fine. Just some issues at work that's all."

Cara went silent for a moment before hesitantly asking; "do you want to tell me now about what's been going on between you and Kristin?"

Idina shot her a funny look.

"Come on, dee. You know exactly what I'm talking about."

Idina sighed drinking the rest of her glass before setting it down.

"Okay."

"Gosh cara I don't know what to say....."

"Okay, so are you guys together?"

Idina didn't say a word. Cara knew her sister well. "I see..."

"But, so ..wow, gosh I guess I'm a little surprised I mean, Dina. You're in love with her, in love with a women."

"I know." She chuckled, surprised herself.

"So how long has this been going on?"

"Two months."

"Wow..." Cara whispered.

"I love her. I love her so much, she makes me happy cara. I always feel complete when I'm with her. It's something so special."

"I know, i see the way she looks at you. She really loves you."

Idina smiled to herself. She loves me.

"Well, what can I say I'm your little sister. I'll always be there for you."

"Thank you." She smiled gratefully.

"Yeah, just this stupid guy Marc f*>kin hit on her today- "

"What!" Cara exclaimed. "Did he kiss her?"

"Yep." Idina snarled, drinking some more wine.

"Ugh b%{tard. "

"Right?"

"So, what'd you do?" Knowing her sister so well.

"I confronted him and told him to back off."

"Good. Show him how it's done! Ugh was Kristin ok?"
