Kristin now saw the two from the very beginning. Idina walked into the audition room, but nervous. She was gorgeous. The minute Kirstin laid eyes on her, she couldn't stop thinking about her. And when she sang, it was like an angel's voice. She remembered the director calling out her name a few times till Kristin shook back to reality. Idina was gone. "So what'd you think of her?"

"Oh what's her name?"'the blonde smiled, trying to hide her blush. Everyone else was writing down their thoughts on the papers. "Uh I believe it is....idina menzel." He said.

Idina menzel. The name brought butterflies to her stomach. "I think we found our elphaba."

~ -The two were now at the bridge of the song, she gave idina's hand a squeeze as the two belted out into perfect harmony.

(Kristin's pov)

As she got closer, she looked up. I quickly turned away, trying to act normal.

"Hi." The tone to her voice was very sweet.

"Hi.", I replied, with a small smile.

Did she see me staring? Oh crap.

"Um...do you know where this room is?", She smiled showing me the same piece of white paper I got.

"Yeah, Im just on my way over there.", I smirked, "come with me."

"Oh okay.", she smiled her eyes got big and sparkled with joy. She seemed super nice. I thought.

"So...um....I don't think I introduced myself, I'm idina menzel.", she smiled. Her heart paced fast, with joy.

"Hi, I'm Kristin chenoweth. It's nice to meet you idina.", I smiled back.

"Kristin, ...you are doing ...glinda!", she chuckled with excitement. She was a beautiful brunette. Funny and beautiful.

"Yes, I am.", I giggled, "You are playing elphaba, am I right?", I smiled proudly.

"Yes! How'd you know? The cast list isn't put up till today!", she smiled brightly.

"I figured- you look like an elphaba.", I winked at her.

That was kindest comment she had got so far, she was extremely touched. "Thank you." she blushed.

"I do believe I have been changed for the better." The two sang, at the today show. Kristin almost fell into tears thinking about how far they've come. She could hear in idina's voice she was thinking about it too. Feeling it too.

"And, because I knew you." Kristin sang, gently caressing her cheek.

"Because I knew you." Idina sang back, tearing up, taking her hand, and holding it.

"Because I knew you. I have been ,changed..." The two sang, smoothly. Then idina did something unexpected. "for good." they sang. Before idina cupped her face and pressed her lips against Kristin's cheek. The blonde flushed and melted into her embrace.

The crowd went wild. Outside and in.

The lights slowly faded down and the music faded out.

Everyone cheered. The camera men even stood up and clapped. Idina released Kristin and interlocked her fingers with her own. The host came over. "That was amazing! Girls."

She smiled, leading the two over to the other set, where a white couch was placed and chairs. Kris didn't let go of her hand, sitting down on the couch. Idina sat down beside her wrapping an arm around her pulling her close for a moment.

"Awe you two are too cute." The lady laughed.

The two sat up straight. Idina left her arm stay around the blonde's waist.

"So, that performance. Was really something, I mean everyone went crazy!" She laughed. "It was really amazing."

"Ah thank you." Idina smiled, as Kristin nodded.

"Wow, so you do this ...8-"

"Yes, eight times a week, still standing." Idina giggled looking at Kristin. The blonde laughed, "yep."

"Wow. You both are amazing. Really."

"Thank you."

"So tell me, what is the meaning and what is so unique about this song?"

"Well, it's about two witches, elphaba and Glinda. And how being in each other's lives have changed each individual for the better. They've changed each other. Because of there friendship. You know, you find that special person in your life that just you can connect with so well and they really just complete you." Idina smiled. Kristin felt a light blush come across her cheeks. She leaned against idina, sweetly for a moment.

"Right, exactly. So the two witches aren't really enemies they're friends?"

"Friends, yes, they love each other."

Kristin nodded.

"Okay, let me ask this. So have either of you found that special person, friend or lover, that you feel connects just how this song is between the two characters?"

"Yes." The two smiled at the same time and instantly Kristin met idina's eyes, as the two giggled.

"Actually, for me it's Kristin. She is just one of my best friends and she is my light and grace on that stage every night. I..I love her and she means a lot to me. She holds a special place in my heart." Idina smiled, then looked at Kristin. The blonde was holding her hands up to her chest, in awe. Her eyes almost watery. "Awe dee."

Kristin took her hand and held it.

"And you Kristin?"

"For me, No doubt, idina menzel."

Idina bared her teeth grinning. "She is so special to me. She just, really brings the good in me. She brings out my teenage side, she is so fun and delightful to be around. Words can't describe how much I love this one. She's my elphaba. The one and only elphie" Kristin smiled, as idina squeezed her hand.
