Miharu sighed as she sat perfectly still in the fast food restaurant. She'd ordered food, just so she could have a place to sit and think, and now she was at a loss. She made it pretty far, losing the three yakuza men that had been following her closely, only now she was worried about the Uchiha that were coming for her. She'd been told only an hour or two ago that they were gunning for her, so now she had no clue what to do to protect herself. Even if she knew some martial arts, that wouldn't hold out very well against guns....and men, for that matter. She was more prone with aikido, instead of her judo she'd been taught, but she'd never been very good at fighting male opponents.
She packed the burger and fries in her backpack gently and stood, holding her drink cup in hand. Miharu turned and left the fast food place, ignoring the "Have a nice day!" that the clerk had called out to her. She walked outside and stopped at the walk, sipping her coke in her hand. That had always been a bad habit of hers. Drinking soda when she was nervous was like her own personal drug. It seemed to help calm her. She missed the group of people walking across and frowned when she realized the little man had turned red again. Damn. Miharu thought, turning her focus back to the man. When it turned green she started walking. To the side she spotted it. A car speeding towards her.
"Hey, Miss! Look out!"Someone shouted. She hopped to the side as the car pulled to a stop. Miharu slammed her fist on the hood angrily.
"Hey, you asshole! It's my turn to cross!"Miharu growled. The door opened and she closed her mouth instantly, turning a pale shade of white. There, standing with his hand placed on the open car door, was the man she had spilled her coffee on that morning. "Ah-it's....you.....shit." Miharu watched as two other men got out. Instantly three guns were pointed at her. Miharu gritted her teeth. Now I'm SOL.

And now she sat squirming in the backseat of the car, in between the man who had had his suit ruined and what looked like his brother. Up front beside the driver was the third yakuza that had showed up with the brothers. Miharu clenched her fists on the fabric of her shorts, her eyes covered with a piece of black fabric that had been tied around it after everyone had been seated. Her hands were bound at the wrists too, though not uncomfortably. She ground her teeth. It's okay. I'll be fine. I just have to make sure I don't get myself killed.
"You're awfully quiet,"the voice beside her spoke. It was the man she'd dumped her coffee on. Miharu kept her lips sealed tightly. She sensed an air of annoyance. In a quick movement he slid his hand along the top of her thigh, his fingers coming ever so close to her inner-thigh.
"Ah-hey!"Miharu protested. She couldn't lie, the feeling of someone close to her like that was making her hot in a place she shouldn't be. The hand removed itself.
"There. At least I got some reaction,"the man muttered. Miharu's face burned with an embarrassed anger. This lecherous snake! In a sudden move she felt the car pull to a stop. The engine was turned off and she heard a door open. She heard another door open, and sat completely still, before someone grabbed her bound hands and yanked her from the car. She face planted into someone's chest, making a small noise at the impact, and he stood her upright. His hands held onto the rope ties around her wrists, in between her hands and just barely brushing her skin. She was pulled forward, and followed without protest.
"Who should she see first? Mom or dad?"a voice asked. Probably the brother.
"I'm not sure, I'm betting on your mom,"The other replied.
"Itachi, who are we-"
"We're taking her to mother,"the man holding onto Miharu's bound hands interrupted. Itachi. Is that his name? She kept quiet, and was suddenly pulled to a stop. An elevator ride. A trip up some stairs. Then a halt at what was presumed to be a door. A knock sounded. Silence.
"Enter,"Suddenly came from the other side of the door. Miharu was pulled into a room, one unbeknownst to her. "Why-Itachi, you unbind that poor girl this instant!" Miharu blinked behind the blindfold.
"Sorry Mother, that was just a precaution, this girl is skilled in martial arts,"Itachi replied. The cloth was released from around Miharu's eyes. As soon as the light hit them, she squeezed them shut. Suddenly a hand was placed over them gently. Miharu opened her eyes. After a moment, Itachi removed his hand, looking at her boredly. He unbound her hands and she rubbed her wrists. Her eyes quickly found a woman sitting on the floor with a book in her hands.
"Right. Come forward, girl,"the woman ordered, closing the book. Miharu stood still, and then Itachi shoved her forward. She shot him a scornful look and moved forward as ordered. The woman gestured to a pillow on the floor and Miharu reluctantly sat down. The woman waved her hand and Itachi left the room, shutting the door. She gave Miharu a sympathetic look. "Ah, so you are the Kurokawa girl." Miharu stayed silent. "I'm Mikoto Uchiha. I'm Itachi's mother."
"Is that so?"Miharu murmured. Mikoto gazed at the girl, her lips curving into a small smile. She's Itachi's type, that's for sure. "Could you tell me....why I'm here?"
"That's obvious. You ruined Itachi's most expensive, and brand new, suit,"Mikoto answered. Miharu let out a sigh.
"I said I'd pay him back,"Miharu told her. She gave Mikoto a pleading look. "You have to get him to let me go so I can work to pay him back, if I can't work then I won't ever be able to pay him." Mikoto shook her head.
"I don't interfere with his business. But believe me, if you don't think you'll work, you're wrong,"Mikoto told the girl. Miharu let out a small exasperated sigh. "I understand your sister is in the hospital, yes?" Miharu frowned. "You're working to pay for that as well? As long as you stay here-"
"Stay here?!"Miharu exclaimed. She stood up. "Forgive my impoliteness, but your asshole son can't keep me here! That's illegal!" Mikoto grinned at the girl. Miharu gave her an exasperated look. This woman is nuts! Miharu thought.
"As you've said, my son is an asshole,"Mikoto chuckled. Miharu blinked. What? "I've always thought he seemed too stoic, and played with women too much to his leisure. He needs someone to tell him off, to be there and refuse to allow him to push them around. Thus I support you being with him." Being with him?! Miharu gaped at the woman. She bent over and slammed her hands on the table.
"Being with him?! You make it sound as if we're a couple!"Miharu exasperated. She waved a hand to the side. "I don't know if you're aware or not, but I don't usually form romantic feelings for someone with lecherous intentions." Mikoto closed her eyes and smiled. Miharu blinked. What is her deal? "Besides, I've never even...dated or anything."
"You're paying him back by being his stand in, didn't you know?"Mikoto told her. Miharu gaped. "You're his new toy. Come now, don't tell me you're that dense? Now. As I was saying, we will pay for your sister to be moved here in our family care until you've paid my son back in full."
"You're just going to let him do this?!"Miharu hissed.
"Of course. I don't take to the way he's planning on toying with you, but I don't mess with his wishes or work,"Mikoto replied gently. Miharu sighed and lowered herself back to sitting. "Stay strong. You should know he goes for emotional torture....his words will sting you worse than his whip." Whip?! He sounds like a sadist! Miharu thought.
The door opened and Itachi marched in. He grabbed Miharu by the arm and jerked her up. Miharu glanced at him in shock and then turned back to face his mother with a look of help. Itachi dragged her from the room, and out the door, slamming it behind them. He lead her down the hallway towards the elevator, her steps scrambling to catch up with his as he was long legged.
"Where are you taking me?!"Miharu asked. He ignored her and tossed her into the elevator, not caring that she slammed into the glass wall of it. He pushed a button and the elevator shot up. When it dinged and the doors opened, Itachi roughly grabbed her arm again and dragged her down another hallway. "Hey, at least answer me!" Itachi opened a door and closed it behind them, pulling her into the room and tossing her onto a couch. He stood in front of her, his arms crossed and his eyes narrowed. She was lifting herself up halfway on it, staring at him with a flustered expression. She looks cute like that. I wonder how many expressions I can get her to make.
"Now. We will discuss the issue of your payment,"Itachi spoke. He moved and sat in a chair across from the couch.
