"Something no one knows about you. 3, 2, 1 - go!" I giggled as his face was thinking harshly.
"Um, uh, I know how to juggle," he smiled as I rolled my eyes at how random that is.
"I bet if you google yourself everyone would know that fact," I raised an eyebrow as he scoffed taking his phone out.
Everyone was still in the arcade since we got no further news on when Ali would be done. My mom said she would text me telling me the details once everything is completely sorted out.
"Man, these kids are too good," Daniel sighed in defeat seeing an article talking about himself.
"Wow. You're famous," I joked as he smirked playing it cool.
"Well, when you have talent like I do, it's no surprise," he says cockily causing me to push him aside both laughing.
"Lame," I rolled my eyes.
Daniel and I were talking near the ticket booth as we tried to get to know more about each other. Even though we'd have this constant on and off again relationship, we never truly known each other.
Maybe it's our new friendship policy.
"Where do you want to go to college?" he asked randomly as I gave him a weird look.
"Why?" I giggled curiously.
"I don't know. Just want to know what you're going to do with your future. That's all."
"NYU probably. My parents really want me to join their business program over there, but I'm more into the artistic aspects, so it's a win win for both of us," I smiled started to reach some tokens walking over the claw machine.
"What do you want to pursue?" he sounded interesting.
"Um, they want me to become a lawyer after my business courses," I chuckled.
"No, I said what you want to pursue," he states as I look at him unsure.
Ideas flood my brain not really sure exactly anything else. It's been compacted to my brain that after high school I would go to NYU for four years in business and then go to law school after.
It's never really been a thought in my mind of any other plan. This has been it - forever.
"I don't know," a dry chuckle escaped, "my future was planned for me the day I was born."
"Don't you wish you could change it?" he asked seeing my false smile.
"I don't think I can. I don't even know what another job that I see myself as." I shrugged my shoulders.
"You have time; don't worry," he smiled.
It was a fake smile.
Graduation is less than four months away and administrations to colleges are in two weeks. I grinned at him starting to play on the claw machine as my mind is racing.
I start to look around at Kendra and Jonah smiling happily at the photo booth posing. I sighed knowing that she's going to stay in California going to Santa Barbara and Ali would be attending UCLA.
I quickly looked down to my wrists hoping no one saw my faint glances across the arcade as I start to realize my life is moving so quickly. Before I know it, I'll be moving across the country leaving all my friends behind.
A harsh ring of my phone erasing my train of thought as Daniel had turned next to me seeing who it was.
"Hey mom."
