"You're sister will be at the airport waiting for you when you arrive. And, it's cold there so make sure you bring a jacket. Am I remembering everything Al?" I saw my mother through the phone looking at my dad.

"Don't forget your flight number and Kendra should be at the house to drive you there soon, okay? Is that all?" he asked nervously back to my mother.

"I've got this. I already packed clothing for three days, the flight leaves at 4:50 PM, and I have all my legal documents in this booklet," I smiled as my dad shook his head in surprise.

"You're more responsible than we are! You're father forgot his toothbrush when we flew here!" my mother giggled as my dad hit her with a pillow lightly causing me to giggle.

The duo was currently in Kentucky for a business meeting concerning their company. I didn't want to bother them with a facetime call, but my mother happily called me to my surprise. The two were quite worried for me since this was the first time I would be flying alone, but I told them that there was nothing to worry about.

This weekend trip to New York could make or break my future.

"Do you have proper clothing for the couselor? It will be held tomorrow at 12 o'clock sharp. Don't be late honey," my mom warned.

"Yes and yes, I know," I smiled at the camera before packing the last pieces of clothing into my suitcase.

"I think that's all. Remember not to be shy to brag a little about your accomplishments. They want to hear how much you have succeeded in your high school career," my dad told.

"And, your sister should know where to bring you for the meeting. She can give you some tips when you meet her later."

I nodded already knowing these things.

"I know you've told me about a million times," I giggled shaking my head.

"You're father got you a first class ticket because we want you safe. Okay? Have fun honey! We have to go, but be safe," I saw her scared smile through the phone.

"Mom, I'll be fine. I promise," I told her as she nodded.

"Of course. Just be safe, okay? We love you," my dad added to the conversation as I nodded.

"Love you."

And, that's when the call ended. I packed up all the belonging I would be bringing, and headed down the stairs getting a small snack. Sending a short text to Kendra, I waited patiently in the kitchen for my friend's arrival. This past week has been torture trying to balance my school work, activities, and my fear for this counseling trip.

It was no surprise that many people have been on my back for different events that are planned for the future, and there's been countless acts of frustration for all of their unanswered questions. Shaking my head from those annoying thoughts, I heard a ring of a text message from Kendra saying she's here.

Quickly rushing outside, I saw the familiar car hopping into it. She greeted me with a small smile, yet we already saw each other a couple of hours ago from the Friday's school day. She happily blasted the music as we both danced to the beat. Giggles were in the air as we were enjoying ourselves from the constant rush of happiness.

As we reached the airport, the music was dialed down looking at the large buildings. She sighed knowing that is time for me to go helping me with my luggage. I smiled at her sudden sad state, but happily reminded it was only for a weekend.

"Be safe, Sienna. Love you," Kendra says pulling me into a hug.

"Bye! Love you," I replied into the hug.
