"Jasper cheated on you."
She could've said anything — anything at all, and it would've been fine, but this? After finally being drawn from the memories of my pasted relationship, I found someone I thought that could give me the love that daniel did, but he have it to another woman.
"What?"
"Listen, Sienna — she's lying! I'd never do that to you!" he huffed as Christina stood offended.
"Then explain that hickey on your neck yesterday!" she glared.
"I'm a photographer, but sometimes I want to get in front of the camera, so the stylist was fixing my hair, she burnt me! I'd never do that to you," he glance my way before I felt the cloudy vision of suffocation.
"Get out," I mumbled.
"Huh!"
"Get out!" I screeched with anger striving in my voice.
"See, Sienna! I told you he —" Christina started.
"Everyone get out! Get the hell out of this room!" I yelped before the crowd grew smaller.
My fingers brushed over my face as the strands of hairs were being pulled from frustration. The last thing I remember is that crazy — yet I wake up to a reality I don't even want to bother trying to deal with.
My emotions were so mixed up and so filled that I felt like I was going to explode. I would become an explosion. I turn my head for one minute and suddenly an aspect of my life depletes to the ground. I could feel my heart racing through my chest as the stress in my body started to rise.
I felt so defeated — so shattered. It seemed like every time I try to be happy with someone it fails — I fail. Maybe it was fate telling me love was obvious or maybe it was fate telling me love was a joke.
As I felt like the world was starting to crash down on me once more, a warm hand gathered its way touching my back while my body was diverged into a ball. I thought everyone left — everyone, but him. My face left my hands as I looked to the familiar stranger seeing the worry seep through his eyes.
The moment didn't need words to justify how either of us were feeling. He knew I was hurting, but he stood by my side when I needed it. Even if we haven't seen each other or inflicted on each other's lives in so long, he cared — and I cared too.
"Dani?" I whimpered.
"It's okay, Sienna. I'm here, I'll always be here," he shushed me before moving closer.
"I —"
"Don't. Don't tell me unless your ready, okay?" he muttered grabbing my fragile hands as I nodded.
My palms were stained with tears as he tried to wash away the sadness rubbing them gently. He tried to let me adjust to our new connection. I carefully scooted further trying to make space for him on the tiny bed-like area as he noticed my gesture.
Misery loves company.
Our bodies held close as his hands still lingered between mine trying to calm me down. I leaned my head on the brink of his shoulder as I could see the result of a smile brush his lips. I would be lying if I said that a smile didn't appear on my face as well. It was so comfortable — I haven't felt this in forever.
