It seemed like time had been passing like the breeze in the California weather. I could barely remember the events of January. All I remember is leaving Daniel, yet it seems like that was ages ago. January had only brought a couple of short text conversations between Daniel and I.

According to Kendra, Jonah and her have officially started dating at the end of that same month, so obviously that made me feel even worse. Knowing that Kendra and Jonah and Zach and Allison have kept a constant relationship with each other had really hurt. It's just more evidence that Daniel and I were only a short time thing.

I tried to make excused to myself in the beginning of January that maybe all the constant depressing Ed Sheeran songs have gone to my head. Maybe Daniel was too busy for my texts. But, our conversations were left short and brief. He always ended them quickly. And, it hurt.

Our last text messages were over two week ago since it is now mid February. I shake my head at the memories of winter break shooting another text to Daniel saying hey before arriving to my locker. All our conversations I was left starting them as I rolled my eyes suddenly annoyed.

I grabbed my math textbook and binder slamming the locker shut making me jump. Kendra walked up to me obviously sensing my annoyance giving me a sad frown.

"What's wrong this time?" she leaned against the locker.

"Just guess," I rolled my eyes once more.

"Okay, if Daniel leaves you on read one more time, I will personally driving to LA just to slap him," she angrily remarked causing me to chuckle.

"Don't even bother. I don't know what's up with the kid, but I'm over trying to keep at least friendship with him. I'm so done," I sighed putting my phone in my backpack.

We walked together to another building as a spark of conversation about Valentine's Day weekend popped up.

"Can you believe it? They're giving us a five day weekend for an 'Extended President's day'!" Kendra squealed.

"So, what do you want to do? Movie, dinner, or maybe we could go to the beach," I asked on the plans.

"Actually, we have a surprise," Kendra giggled.

"We?"

"Let's just say you have to pack your bags for this weekend," she happily says.

"Don't tell me we're going on a trip to LA," I asked annoyed.

Kendra's face immediately straightened up seeing she thought I would be excited about our spontaneous trip.

"I mean, it's Valentine's Day! Ali convinced her parents for her to drive out to LA to see us and Zach," she told me their plan.

"Well, have fun!" I sarcastically smile walking faster to my math class.

"Sienna!" I heard Ken scream as I finally enter the classroom.

For once, I was happy that I was in math class. I sit at my assigned seat saying hi to my friend Nika who sat directly in front of me. Our teacher has been teaching us a lesson that made me want to snooze, so I took out my phone to distract myself from actually falling asleep.

Then, I noticed a text back from someone who's been ignoring me forever.
