It wasn't that easy for Alesandra though, to go back to work, since she is betrothed to Nikolai. They had arguments about it for a couple of days. Nikolai didn't want Alesandra to go back and suggested to let Catalina manage La' Belle House. He knew Catalina is more than capable of managing the company. But Alesandra offers him to compromise that she will be working until six in the evening and no work on weekends. That way she still has time to bond with Catalina before she gets married soon.
She's worried about Catalina though, she is all that Catalina has and her Nanny, Esther. With so much thought and realization, Nikolai gave in to Alesandra's request.
And now.. she's back.!!
Alesandra is back after some hiatus from their vacation. She is standing in front of the building of her office in New York and lookup. She's going back to work today and really excited to see everyone.
She missed her office. The buzzing of activities and noises and her staff. The long hours of meetings and discussion for the next issue of her magazines. The models' comings and goings in for a photoshoot. And of course, her best friend Catalina. Their forever bantering, their laughter, their lunch date, her nonstop nagging, and of course their coffee breaks.
Aww.!! This is it. I'm back again! I miss working. I can feel the energy around me. And missed seeing the streets up in my office windows. I love it here. Life wouldn't be the same to me without New York.
Chris steps out of the car also and walks ahead of her to hold the door for her, seeing Alesandra standing in front of the building. Waiting for her allowing her to pass through first.
She came inside the lobby followed by Chris and the receptionist saw her. Smile at her and mouthed the word." Welcome back!"
Everyone also in the lobby saw and greeted her.
She waves at them and smiles. She sometimes nods her head. She was waiting in the elevator when another employee makes a way for her and let them in first. Chris holds the door for her and went in also. They were inside the lift and she felt like dancing. She is beaming.
The elevator opens and Chris holds it for her and he saw also the banner of Alesandra. He smiles and presses the button going down again.
Alesandra is shocked to see everyone in the lobby, holding a banner that says...
" Welcome back Alesandra!!"
And party poppers are all over them. Everyone is jumping and clapping seeing her.
Catalina is standing there also holding a bouquet of red roses. Smiling at her lovingly. She mouthed the word...
"I miss you, Dara."
She walks towards Catalina hugs and kisses her, she had misty-eyed and hands on her chest. She covers her mouth and thanking everyone. She hugs and kisses them also.
Catalina handed her the roses. She smells the flowers.
Hence, she asked everyone who told them and everyone says...
"Mr. Bolinski.!!"
Then she rolled her eyes and hands up in the air. Laughing and throw her head back.
"Okay, everyone. Thank you so much. Now you go back to work."
