Chapter 43 - Ex - Fianceè

Simonè, Russian billionaire's heiress.

Simonè is on vacation in Las Vegas mending her broken heart. Licking her own wounds. Staying away and taking a breather from all the things she wanted to keep away from. She stays in her hotel room for a week never leaving or stepping out. She never even watch television or read any newspapers. After all of what had happened to her, it had crossed her mind about Nikolai.. she was thinking of visiting him one of these days. She is hoping against hope that Nikolai will see her.

But the news about him is all over. Few of her friends got in touch with her and asked about it if she knew it. She has no idea about Nikolai's engagement much less about his upcoming wedding to the french heiress, Alesandra Renaulthè. She panicked and saw it on television and read it in papers and magazines. She was really disheartened by the turn of the event. It all backfired to her.

Now, she was broken by the news she got. Thinking that Nikolai will get married soon and she can see it he is really happy. Unlike her, she didn't get the chance to be happily married.

She left Nikolai, because of this man who from the very start never been loyal to her. She assumed she loves the guy but it was all wrong. Her decision to leave Nikolai is the biggest mistake she'd done in her entire life. Now, she is hurting more and she can't get back to Nikolai.

She renounced her betrothed, she caught him with another girl making out in his hotel suite. Her fianceè was thinking that she will not come. Last-minute she decided to change her plan, she went ahead and wanted to surprise him but then saw what she was afraid to know. All the time she has this feeling that her fianceè is playing with fire.

Doubting the sincerity of his fiancèè, Simonè ask his father's most trusted men to discreetly investigate her fianceè's affair. She saw it with her own eyes pictures and video of him with different women. Some are prostitutes and some are their common friends. The last straw she did was to catch him in his hotel suite. He was traveling for business meetings and he came along with one of their friend, who she didn't know had long been having an affair with his fianceè.

She then ended their relationship and felt that she have been deceived by a man whom she believed her lifetime partner.

This is the time that Nikolai, her ex-boyfriend, who used to be her ex-fiance came to her mind.

She wanted to see Nikolai and if he will see her. Thinking about dropping by his office. And giving herself another chance to be with him. She will take her chances. But with the information of his engagement, she is wondering herself if he will allow her to see him.

He's still not married to this woman and maybe Nikolai will take me back once we tried to patch things up. Even if begging him to come back I'll do it. I know he still loves me deep inside and I was the first woman he truly loved. I'll see you soon, Niko. I never stopped loving you.

Flashback.. Simonè and Nikolai.

After their engagement, Simonè started to question herself if she really loves Nikolai, and if she wants to spend her life with him. She had cold feet about their wedding. They've been living together before their engagement and when Nikolai proposed to her everyone in their family and friends expected it will happen.

Nikolai is madly in love with Simonè, ever since he met her. Their fathers are business partners and it was expected from both of them that they will end up together also. Their families became very closed and when both of them were separated to study in college, it was devastatingly difficult for both of them.

She stays in Russia and Nikolai studied in the US at Harvard. But it didn't stop them from seeing each other. During their uni break, Nikolai makes it a point to see her often. He traveled to Russia and stay with her for a week. Mostly spent his time with Simonè. He was dead serious about marrying her. His entire life is dedicated to Simonè. Even in his decisions he always consulted Simonè.
