This is book three of my little Kakashi x Oc series. This takes place during Naruto Shippuden. I hope you enjoy this book and the others too. I do not own Naruto or any of its characters just the ones I made up :3

"Okay guys, one down one to go let's go support Kakashi and Naruto." I said turning back around
"Yes sensei" All of the kids said and we walked out of the hideout and started leaping towards where we sensed Naruto and Kakashi. Suddenly I got the twinge in my head that normally happened when someone threw my kunai, but it was different. Normally it only lasted for two, maybe three seconds but this didn't go away. I stopped moving and clutched my head as I started to hear a ringing in my ears. The ringing never went away but pain also shot to the spot at the base of my neck in the middle of my back like someone was branding me
"Say-i s-nsei -re -ou oka-" I heard someone say but it kept cutting out because of the ringing and felt a hand on my shoulder
"Naruto" I muttered harshly before taking in a deep breath and gathering my chakra and teleporting to where Kakashi and Naruto were.
Kakashi's Pov:
I was crouched on a tree next to one of Naruto's shadow clones, in front of me were three more that were trying to get Gaara free.
"You will pay for this" Naruto said in a lower tone than usual
"Yeah, yeah. Maybe someday I'll give you a rematch kid" Deidara called out from where he was sitting against a tree
"You've let down your guard" I muttered while Naruto jumped down punching him straight in the face.
Naruto made four clones that pinned Deidara down when he hit the ground, Naruto landed in the middle of his torso and started punching him repeatedly. He then charged up his rasengan only to punch it through a clay clone...Orange bubbles started forming around Naruto until it was a full cloak. Once the second tail sprouted the clones all hunched over holding there heads
"It burns!" The one next to me said through clenched teeth. Just as the clone next to me disappeared and it was replaced suddenly by Sayuri holding her head in the same way as the clones.
"Sayuri?!" I half yelped from her sudden appearance. She had a bit of blood coming out of her mouth and her hair was falling out of the ponytail she had it in. The bottom of her jonin vest was ripped and her eyes were screwed shut from pain.
"Ka-kashi, what is going on with Naruto?" She asked me hoarsely
"Naruto?.. Oh! stay here Sayu" I said hopping down and coming face to face with a very angry Naruto. He tried to attack me but I dodged it and stuck the seal Jiraiya gave me on his forehead. I caught him as he was about to fall and laid him down.
Sayuri's Pov:
The ringing in my ears stopped and the burning pain at the base of my neck was gone too. I sighed and opened my eyes looking around. In front of me was Gaara being held by two clones. I felt tears prick my eyes so I just looked away before I could start balling...now was not the time. My eyes landed on Kakashi and Naruto and I jumped down.
