Chapter 23

"Just where did you obtain that eye?" Kakashi asked looking at the man

"Where? During the last Great war if I dare say... The battle of Kannabi bridge, the same battle where you earned the nickname Sharingan Hero" The man said and I held in my gasp as Kakashi's entire body tensed and his eyes widened.

"Wait are you.." Kakashi started but was cut off

"I thought I told you to stop flapping your mouth so readily, you have sunk so low as to become nothing but talk, your words are worthless and meaningless....It is too late for regrets, life just keeps cruelly moving forward...you have seen reality. You ought to know not one wish gets granted in this miserable world, that's why I shall guide it towards the dream of Infinite Tsukuyomi. I shall create a world where it won't be necessary for a hero to pathetically make excuses in front of a grave" The man growled looking at Kakashi whose breath started to become shallow

"Shut the hell up!!!" I yelled as chakra flared around me and I clenched my fists looking at this man. Naruto ran forward yelling at him and took this opportunity to look at Kakashi who looked like he would pass out any second.. I let my chakra die down as I turned to him.

"Kakashi look at me" I whispered as I pulled him by his chin to look to me. The look in his open eye shattered my heart, there was so much pain behind his eye that I had not seen in awhile.

"Don't freak out okay? No matter what we have to stop him and his plans so don't freeze up again. You have done nothing wrong Kakashi you have always done your best for everyone so stop letting the guilt get to you" I whispered and he blinked taking in a deep breath and nodded. I turned back towards Naruto but his voice was no longer his own, it was Kurama's

"Sorry but your words don't apply to this guy... The Fourth entrusted him with me and Naruto has...befriended me now and mastered my power too.... The Fourth Hokage sealed me inside Naruto as a force to bring you down" He said as Naruto started to glow with chakra.

"Gai make sure Kakashi is okay I have to help Naruto" I said as I gave Kakashi's hand a quick squeeze then jumped off to be in line with Naruto. The masked man shot three huge shuriken out of his eye and Killer B stopped two of them. I was about to stop the other but Naruto let his chakra form around us in the shape of and caught the last shuriken in his teeth. I quickly made a shadow clone and let Kazuki loose with it as I hid behind one of the Eight Tails tentacles. The man jumped up on a few of the rocks, and my clone with Kazuki along with Naruto lunged forward at him, in my peripheral vision I saw Gai and Kakashi run towards him as well.

"I do not fear a borrowed power that can't even make up a barrage.." The man said just as I teleported to him from the mark Minato had left years before.

"Shut the fuck up about my husband" I yelled and before he had time to even realize my presence I punched him in the face hard, sending him plummeting to the ground and a fairly large crater to appear where his body landed.

"With your chakra abilities it seems as though I had forgotten about your speed" The man muttered from the dust as I landed softly next to Kakashi and Gai. The dust cleared and the man stood up, his mask broken in half.. it slowly fell away from his face and as soon as the mask fell Kakashi wobbled slightly

"Is that you.. Obito?" Kakashi muttered weakly with a look of on his face

"I-is that really Obito.. I thought he was dead?" Gai questioned

"There's no mistake.. That's Obito Uchiha" Kakashi said quietly

"You can call me by that name if you want but it means nothing to me" He said in a much lighter and more snide voice than the one he had been using this whole time. I reached down and grabbed Kakashi's hand tightly but he pulled his hand out of my grasp as he took a step forward.
