"Meet me behind the bench in the park in five minutes," he instructed across the phone, his voice a whisper.
"Alright," I whispered back, giggling a bit. I'd woken up only a few minutes ago, to the sound of my phone buzzing off the hook. Niall had called, saying he'd wanted to see me again. So we arranged to meet up.
I quickly threw on some black skinny jeans, white sandals and a floral top, throwing my hair in a bun and adding a little make up to go. I found myself smiling the entire time I was getting ready, my stomach stirring at the thought of being with him again.
When I was all ready to go, I quietly stepped out the door, trying not to wake Becca.
I rushed as fast as I could to the park, earning strange glances from people passion by as I nearly ran.
I smiled, as I jogged over to the bench, the smell of the brisk outdoor air filling my senses. After checking that the coast was clear, I dove behind the bench, expecting to find Niall.....
But he wasn't there.
He's probably just a little late, Chill Ronnie.
I sat cross-legged behind the bench for ages, my heart sinking when I'd realized he stood me up. I sighed, standing up.
I can't believe I was stupid enough to believe he actually wanted something with me.
I felt the tears burn behind my eyes as I began to move from the bench, getting ready to head back to the dorm.
Suddenly, and arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me back into the bushes.
"Where do ya think you're goin, beautiful?" Niall whispered, his lips dangerously close to my neck.
I spun in his arms, turning to find him looking at me with the biggest smile I'd ever seen.
"Hello to you, too," I giggled. He winked, leaning down and taking my lips in his. His hand moved behind my neck, deepening our kiss as my hands pressed to his chest. Our lips moved together softly, our bodies pressed together tightly. He hummed into my mouth, making me smile as we broke away. I blushed as he pecked me on the cheek, peering into my eyes.
"Ya look pretty today," he said, reaching down to hold my hand.
"Thank you. You do too," I smiled. He raised an eyebrow, a smirk upon his lips.
"I look pretty?" he asked, laughing a little.
"No, no I mean... you know what I meant!" I scolded, lightly hitting his bicep. He smiled a devilish grin as he replied, "No I don't, really."
I rolled my eyes, smiling as I realized what he wanted to hear. Deciding to flirt back, I leaned up to his ear and whispered, "I meant, that you look quite hot today."
He was wearing tight blue jeans, a black v-neck shirt, and white converse. Honestly, he looked extremely sexy, enough to send me reeling. I leaned back, giggling at his stunned expression.
"Mm, well thanks baby," he smiled, closing his eyes and rubbing noses with me. It caught me off guard, the sweet gesture, because this was something I didn't expect from Niall. He was being awfully mushy today. But hell, did I love it.
I couldn't help myself when I wrapped my arms around his neck, closing the space between us by passionately kissing him this time. He seemed surprised at my sudden confidence, stumbling back a bit. But soon, his arms tightly wound around my waist, kissing back with full force. I could've stayed like that forever... kissing him. And I definitely couldn't forget the sparks I felt every time his lips clashed against mine.
