"Will ya stop squirmin'!?" Niall whined, squeezing my hand.

"I'm sorry... I'm just so nervous. What if they don't like me? W-What if this is a mistake?" I murmured, hopping up and down in my seat.

"Ron. Calm down! I told ya, they're goin' to love ya."

I snuggled into his side, shivering. The plane we were on was quite chilly, and I had neglected to take my sweatshirt out of my bag before we took off.

I know he told me not to worry, but I couldn't help but do just that. This was so nerve wracking, meeting Niall's entire family.

"But what if they don't?"

Niall groaned in frustration, shaking his head.

"Then they're just goin' to have to deal with it. 'Cause I'm in love with ya, and that's all that matters."

He kissed my cheek, sending me a reassuring smile.

I only sighed, leaning my head back on his shoulder. He was right... I was getting too worked up about this.

So in order to get my mind off my worries, I decided to ask about the family.

"So... you've got a brother?"

Niall laughed a little, smiling at me.

"Sure do. He's my older brother, Greg."

"And he's got a girlfriend?"

"Nah, he's married. He's got the cutest kid ever, my nephew, Theo."

My eyes widened as I took in this fact.

"You're an uncle!? How come you never told me?"

He chuckled, his lips moving to my neck.

"Hm, babe, there's a lot of shit I haven't told ya."

I raised an eyebrow, reaching up to stop him from kissing me.

"So tell me then."

The next hour resulted in Niall telling me everything I needed to know about his entire family. His parents, Maura and Bobby, were divorced. Bobby was a butcher, and had a girlfriend. Maura wasn't seeing anyone at the moment, but Niall insisted that was because she was too hot for anyone to handle. Her cooking was the best, and no one disputed that.

His two best friends, Sean and Darragh, still lived around Mullingar. I would be meeting them at some point during the visit.

His brother and father apparently loved going golfing together, and I was surprised to find that Niall often tagged along as well. His favorite restaurant, Nandos, was located close to his home. He nearly had a heart attack when I told him I'd never been, and he insisted that we would be visitng there as soon as possible.

I learned a lot about Niall in that hour, and there was still much more to learn.

"Wow," I sighed, cuddling against him. I inhaled, breathing in the heavenly scent of his cologne.

"Now are ya excited?" he asked, a smirk on his face.

I nodded, my head resting on his chest as we neared our destination.

"Still nervous though..."

"I know what might get your mind off things..."

I looked up, watching as a devilish smile spread across his face. He leaned down, taking my lips in his in a kiss. We sat there a moment, kissing, until someone coughed awkwardly next to us. We both looked over, the flight attendant staring at us with a snobby look on her face.

"Um... we'll be landing in about 5 minutes..." she announced, sticking up her nose and moving on. I raised an eyebrow at her attitude, shaking my head.

"The bitch is just jealous... she wants the D..." Niall mumbled, looking out the window.

I broke into a fit of laughter at his comment, kissing his cheek.

"Cheeky boy..." I scolded, patting his thigh. He rolled his eyes, a smile on his face as we made our descent into Dublin.

I squeezed Niall's hand as we pulled into the driveway of his childhood home.

"Here we are," he announced, "Home sweet home."

I smiled at the dainty house, imagining a minature Niall living inside.

"Ya ready?" he asked, turning to me. I nodded, getting ready to open the door when suddenly, I was yanked back.

"Wait... there's something I gotta do first, before we go inside."

I furrowed my eyebrows, watching as he leaned into me.

"I probably won't be able to do this with ya for a while... my family never leaves me alone. So..."

He took my lips in his, passionately kissing me. I wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing him back as he gripped my shoulders. Our tongues moved together as he hummed into me, making me smile.

"Mmm... 'M gonna miss that."

I rolled my eyes, stepping out of the car. Niall gripped my hand as we made our way to the front door. I held my breath as I watched him knock on the red stained wood.

A moment later, the door opened to reaveal a beautiful blonde haired woman. Her face lit up immediately.

"Oh Niall! My baby!" she exclaimed, engulfing him in a hug.

"Hi mum!" Niall greeted, chuckling as she leaned up, kissing his face multiple times.

"Oh my boy, my boy! 'Ve missed ya so much! Did ya miss your mummy?" she asked, squeezing him tighter. I couldn't help but smile, listening as her irish accent filled my ears.

Niall rolled his eyes, sighing heavily.

"Yes mum, I missed ya."

She pulled away, a large grin on her face.

"I thought so. Now, who's this lovely girl ya've brought back with ya?" she asked, looking at me with warm eyes.

Niall smiled, wrapping an arm around my waist as he introduced me.

"This is my girlfriend, Ronnie. The one I told ya about over the phone."

"Well my, she's beautiful, Niall," his mother cooed, smiling.

I blushed, grinning as I took her hand in mine to shake.

"Thank you! It's wonderful to finally meet you Mrs. Horan!"

I was taken aback when suddenly, she engulfed me in a tight hug.

"Oh please! Call me Maura!" She chimed. I giggled, nodding as I pulled away.

"Your brother's in the living room with Denise and Theo. Come on in!" Maura informed Niall, her eyes alight with happiness.

I looked over at Niall as he led me through the door.

"Your mom is lovely," I whispered, following him through the house.

"Oh please, she can get quite annoying. But I can tell, she already loves ya..." he whispered, kissing me on the cheek. I blushed, butterflies swarming in my stomach at his words.

If the rest of the family was as nice as Maura had just proven she was, then I was excited.

Really excited.
