"So, Sean and Derek?"
"Darragh," Niall corrected, intertwining our fingers together.
"Darragh," I repeated, silently repeating the two names over and over in my head.
It was safe to say I was nervous. I mean, I wanted to make a good impression. Sean and Darragh were Niall's best friends after all.
"There they are, the eejits!" Niall suddenly shouted, standing from the bench we were sat on.
Two boys, both whom looked to be a few years younger than him, began running towards us, tackling Niall in a hug.
"Nialler!" they laughed, fist bumping him. I giggled, watching as they acted like little kids. They turned to me, their eyes shining with admiration.
"This," Niall began, wrapping an arm around my waist, "is my girlfriend, Ronnie. Ron, this is Sean, and Darragh."
He gestured to Sean, a tall dark headed boy, with stubble on his chin, and Darragh, a shorter skinnier dark headed boy, with a snakebite piercing.
Sean smiled at me, whilst Darragh stood there practically drooling from his mouth.
"Hello! Nice to meet you both," I cheerfully greeted them, sticking out my hand.
Sean took it, warmly shaking my hand. I turned to Darragh, sticking out my hand for him as well, only to notice the smirk on his face.
"Well hellooooo gorgeous!" he said, taking my hand and kissing the back of it. I blushed, pulling my hand away quickly.
His eyes wondered from my face to my chest in a matter of seconds, sending me into a blushing rage. Niall's grip on my waist tightened, his fingers digging into my skin.
"Oi, Darragh! Eyes up 'ere buddy!" Niall scolded, snapping his fingers in front of Darragh's face.
Sean began laughing, his hands on his stomach.
"You'll hafta' forgive our friend 'ere Ronnie," he smiled,"Darragh's got a problem with attractive women... we'll try to control 'em the best we can."
I giggled, nodding my head.
"So, Niall. Why don't ya tell us what's been goin on! It's been a while... how's college goin in London?" he asked, walking beside us.
Niall's arm stayed wrapped around my waist, his thumb softly rubbing my hip.
"Eh, things 'ave been alright. Harry's gone psycho though. I like things much better 'round 'ere in Mullingar."
I leaned my head on his shoulder as he talked, in an act of comfort, knowing just how tough this whole Harry ordeal was for him.
"Harry's gone mad? How so?" Darragh piped up from the other side of Niall.
"Eh, just tryna get with Ron. Almost killed us the other night... Literally!"
My grip on him tightened. I didn't want to think about this. Not while we were on vacation. Niall must've gotten the message, quickly changing the subject back to his friends, and what they'd been up to. We walked into a small cafe, sitting down at a table.
"So, Ronnie," Darragh piped up a while later, "How is it that ya put up with Niall? I 'eard 'e's quite the man on campus."
I laughed, turning to look at Niall.
"It's really tough, believe me. But around me he's a total sweetheart."
He blushed a little, hiding his face in my shoulder whilst his friends began making fun of him.
