At school things were similar. She would see him in the halls, or even in the few classes they shared. Often, especially in math because he sat right next to her, she dreamed about what it would be like to talk to him. What it would be like to be more than no one to him. What it would be like to be part of his world.
The keyword in all her 'what if's' was a dream. Dreams were never meant to be a reality. She clung to that fact with all her might whenever she thought differently.
