AIDEN
Like every other Wednesday, since the project started, She sat on the picnic table waiting for him. A book was always in her hands and she seemed oblivious to everything around her. He wondered what was occurring in her head as he approached her.
"Ready to go?"
She clapped her book closed and looked up at him with a tiny smile. "Yes."
Holding out his hand to her, he tried to ignore the sensation of eyes burning into them as she grasped it.
"Did you bring the camera?" She asked, lingering a bit before dropping his hand.
"Yea." Missing the feel of her hand in his, he swung his hands as they walked, occasionally brushing his fingers with hers. "Instead of taking the videos here, I thought maybe we could to a different town?"
She nodded thoughtfully, saying, "Good idea. We could go to a few different towns, show the similarities and differences in all of them and then compare them as a whole to the book."
"You're a fucking genius."
Laughing lightly, she shook her head no. "It was your idea."
"You made it better."
She looked up at him with a smile big enough to light up the world. "If you say so."
