AIDEN
The stars were wide awake when they returned to school. He got out of the car and opened her door for her. As if she was a delicate little flower, she stepped out of his vehicle with gentle grace and natural ease.
He watched her curves sway with unashamed eyes as he followed her the short distance to her car.
"Today was fun." She said to him as she leaned against the car door to face him.
"Yea." He paused for a second and stared at her. Her dark complexion blended in with the night, making her hard to make out even though she stood only a couple feet from him. "Maybe we could spend another day like this sometime?"
Her voice was light and teasing when she said, "Are you asking me out?"
"Maybe." Despite his heart beating at a thunderous rate, he tried his best to keep his voice light and teasing. "What would your answer be?"
She stared down at the ground and breathed, "Okay."
"Okay?" He repeated to make sure he understood her.
She looked up at him as she opened her car door. "Yes."
