Every day she sat down at the same spot. Five tables down from him, no more than forty feet apart, yet it almost always felt like she was galaxies away from him. No one ever understands her sorrow. The few times she'd confessed to a friend, they'd called her obsessed. 'You can't love someone you've never talked to' they claimed. She begged to differ.
