Chapter 6

Chapter 6- My Big Sis

Cadrian's POV
That night me and Aaron met at the old oak tree our usual place for dinner...well i guess I should say my dinner.
According to pack rules any semi-rouges are not allowed to eat in the same place as the rest of the pack.
I was outcasted when my parents were killed by the rouges.
I didn't mean to lead them up to our territory...I was 8 i didn't mean to practicly murder me and Aaron's parents.
And poor Aaron took some of the heat by defending me! At least he wasn't an outcast.
So thats why it was MY dinner.
He was amazing. Every night he would bring me some food.
Whoever was cooking that night (Me or Aaron) would set aside half a portion of food for me. I wasn't allowed to have anymore. Even though I was being half starved.
They didn't want me to grow strong. They knew i would since my parents were Alphas.
And by "them" I mean the Alpha and the pack.
The current alpha only had at least 2 more years as Alpha. Then Luke would take over.
That was a long way away and i had guessed that i would be dead by then anyway.

"NO WAY!!!" Aaron practically screamed...Even though it was already about 9 at night, werewolves didnt need that much sleep so there were still a lotta people still sitting outside. Them...including Luke and also my sister. Kathrine had always had a disgusting little obsession with my mate. Everyone could see that he hated her guts. I mean who didn't? Lets face it! She is a total bitch! But she was beautiful, in bleach blonde, makeup caked, slut way, and had alpha blood in her. Although we were half sisters we looked a lot alike. But we were still complete opposites. I watched her...It was disgusting she was all over him even though he was always moving away from her and pushing her off of him.
I guess she didn't get the message!
But I was still jealous.
She was sitting on his lap now playing with his hair.
My wolf was howling and growling deep inside my conscious.
"Squirt I am so happy for you!" Aaron said as he ruffled my freshly washed hair a little.
I was still watching Kathrine though still fully involved in our conversation.
If We were stronger we could eavesdrop on Luke and our sister.
I had told him of the events with Luke in his room and also showed him the necklace around my neck.
"I was happy too until..."
"Until...? What?"
"Well I am just sooo confused. I think he just feels bad for me. He doesnt actually veiw me as a mate." I looked down at the grass.
" Well it seems like to me that he actually really likes you."
I raised my eyebrow at him...
"Well judging by what he just said to Kathrine..."
My eyes went wide but I quickly squinted into a threatening glare.
"Tell me." I think he got the message that this was a life or death situation for both of us soo he spilled.
"Fine! He told her that he already had a mate so back the *beep* off."
I swear I was smiling like a fool.

For the rest of the night me and Aaron had a great time just talking! Like we used to when we were both happy. It was amazing! But by 3 am i was feeling a little drained of energy so Me and Aaron said our goodnights to each other and he gave me a quick hug.
As I was walking towards my pack house. I heard a disturbance in the woods behind me.
It wasn't uncommon to hear something rustle in the woods which were surrounding our little home. I mean it was the woods! There were tons of little creatures roaming! But this one was a little too loud to be a small rodent. I realized this and turned around but I was too late. A rusty brown wolf was already lunging on me.
"Oh shi-" i couldn't get the rest out before my inner wolf took control and we shifted into our wolf form.
I took note that my attacker was for certain another werewolf because she was too big to be a normal wolf.
After minutes of writhing and biting I finally threw the other wolf off of me. Before she could do anything else I clamped my jaw around her neck.
Where had i saw this color of wolf before...? It was so familiar!
Kathrine. My wolf growled!
My suspicions were confirmed when she shifted back to her human form.
I was unaware that a crowd had formed but sure enough. Our whole pack was gathered around the now human Kathrine and I, still in my wolf form.
At that very moment I remember something very important....
I wasn't allowed to shift! Last time I shifted, which was over a year ago, I was beaten until I almost reached death! And the next day i was still expected to cook.
I looked around.
I stopped on a very important face.
Mate
My wolf growled.
He was standing in front, his jaw gaping wide. He was staring at my wolf.
I really was a beautiful and rare wolf.
I was pure ebony, black and silky
Unlike most wolves I kept my natural colored eyes, My beautiful crystal blue. Which were just enhanced against my fur. I stared deep into his eyes.
At that very moment everyone else disappeared. It was...
Me and Luke
I thought he was taking a step towards me when yet again a rusty brown wolf had her teeth stabbed deep into my neck.
I let out a whimper. I then realized it wasn't my sister at all. It was another brown male. I think his name was Tyler. He was much stronger than me although we were the same age. He was a male and a future Beta after all.
It didn't take much for him to pin we to the ground. I'm not gonna lie I was in so much pain at that instant that I thought for sure this is where I would die.
