Chapter 7-My Guardian Angel

Cadrian's POV

Suddenly Tyler's weight lifted off of me. And seconds later I was ordered to shift back to my human form. Which I of course did. I lay on the ground bloody and naked.
Being naked isn't a bug deal in werewolf culture btw!
"She's all yours Kat." I heard Tyler tell Kathrine. Her nickname was ironic i thought.
I probably would have laughed if A high heeled foot didn't contact me right in the stomach. She continued to beat me for what seemed like forever but i knew she had only hit me a couple of times.
I just lay there limp wanting to get it over with.

Luke's POV
I knew i couldn't watch what was sure to come so once she was forced back to her human form I turned around to leave but as soon as I neared the pack house I could feel her pain.her mental and physical pain.
Go help our Mate.
Oh god! It hurt like a bitch. I could only imagine what she felt.
What the hell are you doing?! My wolf growled at me.
She is our mate! You can not allow this!
I knew he was right...
So I turned back to where everything was happening and caught a glimpse of my mate...now bloody and even more bruised than before.

Cadrian's POV
I looked up to where Luke was before but i didn't see him...
I didn't fucking see him...
How could he leave us?! My wolf whimpered.
I would never forgive him for this. Never.
At that very moment i decided i was done with him. I didn't care how much it hurt either of us. I hated him.
Oh...the beating stopped although the pain was still present.
My first thought was:
Finally
My second thought was:
I'm dead.
My third was:
Luke...

I felt the arms of an angel pick me up ever so gently. And then through my eyelids I could see a faint yellow light.
I hope it was heaven, I thought.
Maybe i could see my parents there. I could tell Aaron's parents that he was ok. And he was turning out to be a great man. One of the greatest.
The light disappeared as soon as it appeared and i heard a door shut.
I let the darkness consume me and soon I was dead to the world.
