Chapter 22 - Training

After a couple days of cooling off we were finally going to start training. We would train everyday from noon to nine at night. Travis along with the rest of our warriors were in charge of the arrangements and training so I guess you could call us trainers. Anyway, today was the first day and we were going to keep it light until we had worked out all the sore muscles and gotten in shape.

First we started off with a 2 hour run.

2 pm

Then we took a twenty minute break. It was well deserved. I had to give it to them. The wolves of my old pack were determine to do well. They were eager to learn and were definitely ready to protect their pack at any moment. Always ready for a fight.

2:20 pm

So far I had gotten minimum shit from Kathrine. She was probably too wrapped up in trying to steal my mate rather than torcher me anymore. Although Kathrine's advances on other guys always seemed to work, they didn't even faze Luke. All the times I had witnessed Kat coming onto him he always pushed her away and ordered someone to "get her away from me."

I was laying on my back, panting a bit. I had been laying next to the rest of the warrior wolves including Trent. He had apologized multiple times for outing me and Travis. I hadn't completely forgave him but that didn't mean I had to be a bitch to him.

"Trent, how the hell are you not dying right now?" I asked the boy who visibly looked just as calm and collected as any other day. He didn't even break a sweat during our run.

He shrugged and replied, "I'm just that good." I rolled my eyes and moved onto my stomach. I rested my head in the palms of my hands as I looked over my pack all mashed up and mixed up with the people that used to make my life a living hell. It sickened me a bit but it also warmed my heart in a weird sort of way. I thought I would never be back here, in this place. But here I am stronger than ever and respected by the very people that drove me to everything I ever did.

2:30 pm

I was literally counting the seconds before I could be alone with Travis again. Just then I heard someone plop down beside me, also on their stomach. I turned to look at who it was.

"Hey." He said with a smile as he pecked my lips.

"Hello, Travis. You seem umm happy?" I wasn't quite sure what he was smiling at but I had a guess.

"Oh I am. I'm about to kick so much ass." We were about to evaluate the pack. Evaluation was quite simple. We would individually fight every single pack member and critique them acordingly. "Ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." I stood up a bit too fast and got dizzy but I quickly regained my control and rallied the troops. By "rally", I mean screaming.

"Everyone gather around!" Just like I ordered, people started gathering around all the warrior wolves, Me, Travis, Trent, and of course Kenneth. I was visibly one of the smallest in both pack's but I would show them how much damage I could do soon enough.

2:35 pm

Most of the people we would be training were our pack and most of the males of the other pack. There were a couple girls such as myself, Kathrine, and a couple more from the other pack.

"Evaluation time! Lady's first." Travis informed us. He was in charge since he was the head warrior. "All of you will be fighting Cade." He put his arm around my waste as if he were introducing me or pointing me out. But everyone knew who I was.

All the girls were ushered into the middle of the circle. I was faced with about 25 women. I gave them a kind, innocent smile then asked, "Who's first." A small girl with red hair stepped up. She was small but she was still bigger than me. "Well Alright, your move." We started circling each other before she reached out, trying to punch me. I caught her wrist and twisted. I heard a delicious pop and everyone knew that would be the end of that. I had taken care not to break it. Just fracture it. A fracture on a werewolf would heal in literally 3 minutes. "Too predictable." I informed the girl, "If you are faced by someone of higher skill or rank, surprising them is your best bet." With that she ushered to the side where Aaron and Arron were. And that went on for the next 45 minutes.
