A Month in Bora Bora

I sat at my desk, impatiently tapping my pencil. This day could not have gone any slower. Especially when you're spending the last day of senior year in ISS. Only a few more minutes and I could get in my car, go to my boyfriend, and never see this stupid school again. I just wanted it to be over so I could see him. I pictured his perfect face in my mind. Blonde hair, sparkling blue eyes, and his adorable Irish accent. I was pulled out of my thoughts by the sound of the 8th period bell. Before anyone else even got up, I was already out of the room. As if on cue, I got a text from Niall.

"can't wait to see you babe<3 got some exciting news!;) -Niall"

"I just got out of class be there in 10!:) <3 -Reagan"

As I pulled into the lot of the apartment building I saw Niall standing outside waiting for me. I closed the car door and ran towards him. We hadn't seen each other in weeks and I was struggling to hold back tears.

"babe I missed you so much!" I cried into his chest and as he wrapped his arms around me.

"hey hey, don't cry! I'm right here," he whispered, stroking my wavy brown hair.

I breathed in the smell of his cologne and we hugged for about a minute or so. We went up to his apartment after i'd calmed down a bit. He made us some tea and sat down on the couch next to me.

"So.. I have something to tell you.." he said nervously.

"Uhm, ok.. Should I be worried?"

"No, not at all. It's just,.."

"Niall." my palms were sweaty and he was starting to worry me.

"Well, it's just that the boys and I are going on a trip..To Bora Bora.For a month.." he looked down fiddling with his hands. I couldn't believe it. I didnt even know how to respond. I'd just gotten out of school after not seeing him for 3 damn weeks, and now he was going to Bora Bora for a month! All of a sudden his nervous look turned into a grin.

"And I want you to come with me babe,"

I felt as if my heart had jumped straight out of my chest.

"Are you being serious right now? Because if you're not I really don't think this is funny Ni-" I was cut off by a quick kiss on the lips.

"But we're leaving tomorrow so you've got a lot of packing to do. And you'd better get some good rest tonight, we're leaving at 5:30 in the morning."

My eyes widened. "Niall babe, I can't just leave! What about my parents?"

"Last time I checked, you're 18. Legally an adult. So it's your decision. Will you come with me?" he gave me that puppy dog look, the kind you can't say no to. I smiled sheepishly before answering,

"I suppose." and I kissed him lightly. I had no idea what I was getting into when I agreed to this.
