“Mama,” Carson said running into her bedroom.
She groaned and pulled her pillow over her head.
Colin walked into the room and shook his head at his wife. Carson looked up at his father, as if asking for permission to jump on his mother.
“Go ahead.”
Carson ran over to Ava’s side and started jumping around her. She moved a little and pushed Carson down while he laughed.
“Mama can I go with daddy today?”
She moved the pillow off of her head and eyed the two people who had ruined her sleep. She got up and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth. When she stepped out of the bathroom she took her hair out of the bun that she put it in last night and walked over to Colin and wrapped her arms around his waist.
“Whatever you want the answer is hell no.”
She stepped in closer to him and pouted her lips.
“But Collie.”
He sighed and looked at her.
“What do you want?”
“Victoria Secret is having a sale today.”
“So what does that have to do with me?”
“Collie.”
Colin laughed at her. Of course he was going to give her whatever she wanted, but it was so fun seeing her have a fit. He’d spoiled her rotten and knew that it was to late now to try and change that.
“How much do you want?”
“How much are you willing to give me?”
“Don’t you have your own money mama?”
Colin laughed and Ava turned around so quickly that she’d almost broken her neck.
“Grown folks business little boy.”
Carson laughed and left the room to put on his shoes.
“It’s not funny Colin Rand.”
“If that’s what you want to think.”
Ava sucked her teeth and rolled her eyes before sticking her hand out.
“Can I have the black card?”
Colin reached in his back pocket and pulled out his wallet.
