Hindi ko alam kung gaano ako katagal hindi gumalaw sa kinatatayuan ko.

Totoo bang yung narinig ko? Totoo bang sinabi niya yun?

Paulit-ulit lang yun sa isip ko, pilit pinoproseso ng sistema ko kung totoo nga at hindi lang basta gawa-gawa ng isipan ko.

Bumalik lang ako sa reyalidad nung bumukas yung gate, "Ate? Kanina ka pa?" nilingon ko si Ianna.

"H-ha?"

"Tinatanong ko kung kanina ka pa," ulit niya pa.

"Uhm, hindi, ano, kakarating ko lang..."

"Eh bakit hindi ka nagdoor bell?"

"Magdodoor bell palang ako nung pagbukas mo ng gate," lumapit ako sakanya tapos bumeso, pumasok na kami sa loob, "Ang Mommy?"

"Nasa kwarto niya, nagpapahinga,"

Tumango ako, I went straight to my mom's bedroom.

"Hey, mama!" I kissed her cheeks, tapos humiga ako sa tabi niya.

"You skipped classes?" nilapag niya yung tablet niya, busy kasi siyang naglalaro ng Candy Crush.

"Only morning classes, ma. I'll prep for my afternoon class..."

Tumango siya, "Tumawag si Charles kagabi,"

"Yeah, sinabi niya sakin na nagpaalam siya," nakahiga parin ako sa tabi niya.

"What happened, really?" she eyed me.

I smiled at her, "Nothing, mama. Hindi lang kami umuwi kasi nakainom na siya, walang magdadrive pauwi,"

"And?" my mom knows me well, alam niya na may hindi ako sinasabi, but I'll tell her anyway, she's my mom after all.

"He told me he likes me and that I do too, but mama, sabi ko, wag muna. It's too soon, galing siyang break up..."

She smiled at me, tapos lumapit ako sa kanya, yumakap ako sa waist niya. Hinaplos niya yung buhok ko, "You're growing to be someone I am proud to brag..."

"Aw, I love you, mama!" I stood up and kissed her cheeks.

"I love you too, anak..."

"Alright mama, I'll go now. Magaayos pa ako,"

She nodded and I went straight to my room.

I slept for awhile a woke up when my phone rang, "Hello?"

"Sabay tayo umuwi mamaya? Is that alright?"

Charles said over the line, I look up to see the time, 1 o'clock na.

"Yeah, pero sabay kami ni Aika uuwi, is it okay kung isasabay natin siya?" tumayo na ako para makapagshower.

"Yeah, sure..."

"Okay, Cha. I'll go now,"

"Alright, bye..."

I texted Aika the plan, she replied and started sending me questions, my phone won't stop beeping. I told her I'll meet her at the cafeteria and we'll talk, but that didn't stopped her, my phone was still beeping all the way to school.

I went straight to the meeting place, I waited for my best friend to arrive.

"Oh, my gosh! You, little naughty girl!" Aika shouted as she was walking towards me.
