Later that night in the hospital, I was lying on one of the minty green hospital beds, staring at the off white ceiling, the smell of medicines and air freshener making my stomach hurt. I wanted some action, I wanted some danger, but I was still freezing. I shivered, but those shivers didn't stop me from what I was planning to do. I quietly crept out of bed. I tiptoed, quiet as ever to the door, slowly putting my hand of the knob, I carefully twisted it and opened the door. "Creeeeaaaak." My heart jumped and I stayed silent for what felt like a minute. Finally, when I calmed down and was sure no one was going to catch me, I pulled the door open a little more, until I could slip out. I smiled, quietly jogging down the hall. It was dark and I could barley see, but u had to deal with that. My eyes would adjust soon anyway. I made it to the check in counter. I scanned the room to make sure the coast was clear, and I ran. I made it outside. The moons light glistened. There were few people outside. None noticing me. I smiled, I was ready, I was more prepared. I knew what was put there. But now they would know where I am and they could find me. But I'm ready, I just know it.
