(Anna POV)

A couple of days later I was hanging out with Sam, Jared, Paul and now Embry. When Sam had howled the other day it was to let us know that Embry would be phasing soon. We had decided to go cliff diving.

(3RD Person POV)

Bella is taking her and Jacob to test out the bikes. Bella hopes to see Edward when she rides the bike. Anna was supposed to go with them, but Charlie said that she was with Sam and Paul. Bella and Jacob are driving around the curve where the cliff that Sam, Jared, Paul, Anna, and Embry are jumping from.

"Is that Sam Uley?" Bella asks.

"Yeah, and his cult," Jacob says not seeing Anna. All of the guys then start pushing Jared off of the cliff.

"Oh, my God! Did you see that?" Bella says slamming on her brakes and moving to the side of the road.

"They're not really fighting, Bella. They're cliff diving. Scary as hell, but a total rush," Jacob explains.

"Rush?" Bella says thinking about seeing Edward.

"Most of us jump from lower down. We leave the showing off to Sam and his disciples," Jacob says. Paul and Anna then jump off while holding hands.

"Was that Anna?" Bella asks.

"Yeah. She hangs out with them and as far as I know, she is dating Paul," Jacob answers feeling a hint of jealousy but pushes it away because he has chosen Bella.

"Is some kind of beef with them or something?" Bella asks.

"Oh, no. They just think they run this place. Embry used to call them hall monitors on steroids. Now, look at him," Jacob says as Embry jumps off the cliff.

"That's Embry?" Bella asks.

"Yeah," Jacob answers.

"What happened to him?" Bella asks. During this time Anna was making her way to Bella and Jacob having seen them before she jumped.

"He missed some school and all of a sudden started following Sam around like a little puppy. Same thing with Paul and Jared. Sam keeps giving me this look like he's waiting for me or something. It's kinda starting to freak me out," Jacob explains.

"Well, you should just avoid him," Bella says.

"I'll try," Jacob says.

"Avoid who?" Anna asks as she was now close enough for them to see and hear her. Anna had heard everything but wanted to make it seem like she hadn't.

"No one," Bella lies.

(Anna POV)

"Okay. Are y'all ready to try out the bikes?" I ask them.

"Yeah. Let's go," Jacob says. Bella drives with Jacob in the middle of me and her. We reach the clearing, then Jacob and I unload the bikes.

"Okay," Bella says preparing herself.

"You look scared," Jacob says.

"I'm not," Bella says getting onto the bike.

"Alright! Brake. Clutch. Good. Gas. Ready?" Jake asks and Bella nods. "Now slowly... release the clutch." Bella does as told and takes off. I read her mind and see that she is seeing Edward as she does this. She's doing it because it's dangerous and she sees Edward when there is danger.

"Bella. Stop," Jacob yells at her. Instead of easing the brake she slams it and the bike flings her off and she hits her head on a rock. I start my bike and take off after her. Jacob gets on the other bike and isn't that far behind.

"You alright?" I ask her when I hop off of my bike.

"I'm gonna go again. I wanna go again," Bella says.

"Are you trying to get yourself killed?" Jacob says as he hops off his bike.

"I'll try again," Bella says.

"No, forget it. No more bikes," I tell her.

"Man, your head," Jacob says as he sees that Bella's head is bleeding.

"Oh, my God, I'm sorry," Bella apologizes thinking about the Cullens.

"You're apologizing for bleeding?" Jacob asks confused.

"Yeah, I guess, I am," Bella says looking towards me since I understood why.

"It's just blood, Bella. No big deal," Jacob says as he takes off his shirt. Bella and I both start staring because he is toned. I have a feeling that he is going to phase soon.

"What are you staring at?" Jacob asks Bella.

"You're sort of beautiful," Bella says dazedly.

"How hard did you hit your head?" Jacob asks jokingly but in his mind, he is so happy. I almost let out a growl at what Bella said but kept it in.

"I don't know," Bella answers.

"Let's go," I say standing and grabbing my bike before walking it to the truck.
