I'm just about to reach Jake, Seth, and Renesmee when a vampire wraps his arms around my neck and starts to squeeze when Alice's vision that she is showing Aro stops. I had started reading Alice mind when Aro grabbed her hand. I look around and see Bella, Edward, Seth, Jake, and Renesmee beside me. I look back to find Leah and Embry with the packs before sighing. Aro looks at all of us with a scared and shocked look.
"Now you know. That's your future. Unless you decide on another course," Alice tells him.
"We cannot alter our course. The child still poses a grave threat," Caius says.
"But what if you were sure she could remain concealed from the human world? Could we leave in peace?" Edward asks.
"Of course. But that cannot be known," Caius answers.
"Actually, it can," Edward says as Alice turns to look at him. Bella looks at Edward confused and Edward smiles at Alice. I then hear footsteps coming from the woods. Out of the woods walks a boy not much older than Jake and I, and a woman. They continue walking until they stand just behind Alice. When the boy passed, could hear his heartbeat that sounded very similar to Renesmee's. The woman was definitely a vampire.
"I've been searching for witnesses of my own among the Ticuna tribes of Brazil," Alice says.
"We have enough witnesses," Caius says.
"Let him speak, brother," Aro orders him.
"I am half human, half vampire. Like the child. A vampire seduced my mother, who died giving birth to me. My aunt Huilen raised me as her own. I made her immortal," Nahuel, the boy, explains.
"How old are you?" Bella asks him.
"150 years," Nahuel answers. We are all relieved, especially Seth, that Renesmee will be around for a while.
"At what age did you reach maturity?" Aro asks him.
"I became full-grown seven years after my birth. I have not changed since then," Nahuel answers.
"And your diet?" Aro asks.
"Blood, human food. I can survive on either," Nahuel answers.
"These children are much like us," Marcus states.
"Regardless, the Cullens have been consorting with werewolves. Our natural enemies," Caius says and I hold back a growl. We are shapeshifters, not werewolves. Aro puts a hand on Caius's shoulder as if to tell him to let it go.
"Dear ones, there is no danger here. We will not fight today," Aro says before Alice and Jasper join us. The guards and everyone besides Aro leaves. Aro looks to Alice, to me, and to Bella. "Such a prize." Aro then takes off as well.
"We have them on the run. Now is the time to attack," Vladimir says.
"Not today," Carlisle says as we all start celebrating. Edward pulls Renesmee from Seth's back. I nuzzle into Jake's neck and he licks my face.
"You're all fools! The Volturi might be gone. But they will never forgive what happened here," Stefan says as Jake, Seth, and I start heading towards the pack. We all pretty much ignore them before they take off. Renesmee laughs and we continue celebrating. Carlisle and Esme kiss, Emmett and Rosalie kiss, and Garrett, Kate, Tanya, Carmen, and Eleazar all hug at the loss of Irina. All of the packs are walking into the woods besides Leah and Sam, they stop to look at Jake, Seth, and me. Jake and I signal for them to go on and they do. Jake, Seth, and I look back to Edward, Bella, and Renesmee. Bella looks back to me, Jake, and Seth before giving us a nod. We then follow after the pack, howling as we went.
We all met back at Sam and Emily's. We phase back and the ones with imprints quickly run into the house. I look at the house and remember all the memories that have been made there and how I haven't seen Emily in forever. Jake then grabs me before spinning me around which causes me to laugh. As he sets me down, he pulls me into a kiss. Sam then walks back outside.
"Thank you for being there," I tell him.
"Of course," He says and I give him a hug before we head inside.
"Anna!" I hear Emily before I see her. She wraps me in a hug which a gladly return. "I'm so happy to see you again." Emily has her hands on my shoulders as she looks at me before trailing them down to hold my hand. "I've missed yo..." Emily quickly brings my left hand up as she hand felt the engagement ring. She gives me a 'really' look and I nod. She starts squealing.
"What is it?" Sam asks as he quickly comes over to her and everyone else comes into the room. Jake stands behind me and wraps an arm around my waist as Emily looks at the ring.
"Anna and Jacob are engaged!" Emily says happily. All of the girl's start squealing besides Leah of course. I pulled into hug after hug.
"Looks like we're gonna be semi-related," Paul says as he pulls me into a hug and I can't help but laugh. Rachel, who is Paul's imprint and Jake's sister, pulls me into a hug next. I hear a door slam and watch Embry run into the woods.
"I got it," Quil says as he pulls me into a hug. "Congrats." He pats Jake on the shoulder before heading after Embry. I see Seth starting to get annecy to see Renesmee again.
"Well, I think we should get going," I say before I pull Emily into another hug. "I promise to visit more often."
"You better," She says and we all laugh. Jake, Seth, Leah, and I then head back to the Cullen's. We arrive at the Cullen's and walk over to Esme and Carlisle who are talking to Nahuel.
"You have a beautiful family," Nahuel says before he and Leah make eye contact. Leah imprints on him. Jake, Seth, and I, all look at each other shocked. We leave Leah and Nahuel to get to know each other as we make our way over to Edward. Seth stands beside Edward while I stand beside Seth with Jake behind me with an arm around my waist. We watch as Renesmee speak with Zafrina.
"She's gonna be around for a long time, isn't she?" Seth asks as he smiles at Renesmee.
"A very long time," Edward answers and we all smile. "I'm glad she has you." Seth looks a little shocked before he tries to come up with something to say.
"So should I start calling you 'Dad'?" Seth asks him and it takes everything in me not to burst out laughing.
"No," Edward answers strongly, causing Seth, Jake, and I to laugh. "Hey." Renesmee comes over and hugs Edward.
"Hey," Bella says as she joins us as she kinda looks like her old self. Bella holds Renesmee's hand to her face and lets Renesmee use her power to talk. "Yeah. We're all gonna be together now." Bella then pulls Renesmee into a hug. I look up to see Alice and watch as she goes into a vision. Seth and Renesmee are at a beach and Renesmee has her head leaning on his shoulder. Edward and Bella can be seen walking up to them. Renesmee then hugs Bella before hugging Edward. They turn back to look at something. Jake and I can then be seen making our way to them with 6-year-old twins between us. A boy and a girl. Leah and Nahuel can be seen walking beside us with Embry trailing behind us like a lost puppy as he keeps his eyes on mine and Jake's girl. Edward looks at me with a smile before we both look to Alice and all of us share a smile.
