I walk to the backyard away from everyone, so I could get away from the vampire stench for a little bit.
"Anna?" I look up to see Jake. "You look beautiful."
"I'll go get Bella," I say before taking off. I find Bella and Edward dancing on the edge of the dance floor. I walk up to them and smile. "Another one of your gifts just arrived."
"What?" Bella asks.
"Yeah, come on," Edward says as he leads Bella away. I sneak after them because I know someone is going to have to keep an eye on Jake.
"What's a wedding present doing out here?" Bella asks.
"Just a little more private," Edward answers her.
"The best man didn't have time to get a tux," Jake says.
"Jacob!" Bella calls with a huge smile on her face which causes Jake to smile big. "Jacob." Bella runs over to Jake and wraps him in a hug.
"Hey, Bella," Jake says as they break apart.
"Hey," Bella says.
"This is kind of you," Edward says.
"Kind is my middle name," Jake says.
"I'll see if Anna wants to dance," Edward says before walking away.
"Will you dance with me?" Jake asks and they start dancing.
"Where have you been? We were gonna put your face on a milk carton," Bella asks.
"Mostly northern Canada. I think. It's weird to be back on two legs again, in clothes. Gotten out of practice with the whole human thing," Jake answers.
"Are you okay? Being here?" Bella asks.
"Why? Afraid I'll trash your party?" Jake asks. There is growling in the woods. "You're not the only one. You'd think I'd be used to telling you goodbye by now." Bella looks like she is about to cry. "Come on, you're not supposed to be the one crying, Bella."
"Everyone cries at weddings," Bella says.
"This is how I'm gonna remember you. Pink cheeks. Two left feet. Heartbeat," Jake says.
"'Cause what, soon I'm gonna be dead to you?" Bella asks.
"No. I'm sorry. I'm just trying to appreciate your last night as a human," Jake answers.
"Well, it's not my last night," Bella says.
"I thought you..." Jake goes to say.
"I didn't really wanna spend my honeymoon writhing in pain," Bella explains.
"What's the point? It's not like you're gonna have a real honeymoon with him, anyway," Jake asks.
"It's gonna be as real as anyone else's," Bella answers.
"That's a sick joke. You are joking? What? While you're still human? You can't be serious, Bella. Tell me you're not that stupid," Jake says.
"I mean, it's really none of your business," Bella says.
"No! You can't do this!" Jake says and he grabs Bella's arms.
"Jake," Bella says.
"Listen to me, Bella," Jake says.
"Jake, let me go!" Bella says. Edward and I both run out. I put a hand on Jake's chest while Edward grabs Bella.
"Jacob, calm down, all right?" I say to him.
"Are you out of your mind? Huh? You'll kill her!" Jake yells.
"Walk away, Jake," Seth says as he comes out of nowhere and grabs Jake. Jake just shakes him off. Jake heads for Edward while I push on his chest and Embry and Quil grab his arms pulling him back.
"Enough, Jacob!" Sam orders as Jake breaks out of Embry and Quil's hold.
"Stay out of this, Sam," Jake tells him.
"You're not gonna start something that we'll have to finish," Sam explains.
"She'll die," Jake argues.
"She's not our concern anymore," Sam says. Jake looks back at Bella before walking away. He makes sure to hit his shoulder into Sam's. Embry and Quil then leave followed by Sam. "Let's go, Seth!" Seth then follows after he looks back at Edward and Bella. Bella looks at me and I give her an 'I'm sorry' look before running after them. I stay near the party until I hear that Bella and Edward are about to leave. I make my way to the front to see Bella walking away from Renee and towards Charlie. I come out of the trees and stand beside Charlie which makes Bella smile.
"Dad," Bella says as she slightly shoves Charlie making them both chuckle.
"Well. It's gonna be strange, you not living under my roof," Charlie says and I smile sadly.
"Yeah. It's gonna be strange for me, too. At least you will still have, Anna," Bella says as she grins at me. "That's if you can get her to stay home." Charlie and I chuckle.
"You know it will always be your home, right?" Charlie asks Bella and she looks like she is about to cry.
"I love you, Dad. Forever," Bella says as she hugs Charlie.
"I love you, too, Bells. I always have and I always will," Charlie says as he hugs her back. "All right. Go on. You don't wanna miss your plane. Wherever it's going." Charlie releases Bella and she laughs.
"Okay," Bella says before she turns to me.
"I love you, big sister," I tell her as I pull her into a hug. "I'm going to support you and be there for in whatever decision you make. Now and forever."
"Thank you," She says as she pulls away. "I love you, Anna, and stay safe." She then looks at Charlie and me. "Bye." Bella gets into the car with Edward.
"I'll see at home sometime soon," I tell Charlie and he nods. I disappear into the trees before stripping and phasing. I hear Edward take off and I chase the car while staying in the trees. I then hear Jake chasing as well. I cut Jake off that way he would let her go. He lets out a depressed howl.
