"We don't have to stay until the morning hours, alright?" I assured as I put my hand on top of her own just to give it a tight squeeze. Although Jo didn't want to accompany me at first, I was glad that I managed to convince her successfully.

She looked at me with those beautiful mesmerizing eyes before she pouted. "Can we stay for an hour or two only? I really don't feel good. I'd rather stay home with you, cuddle with you and watch some sappy romance movie with you."

I smiled widely. "Pinky promise we can do all of that and even more tomorrow baby. I didn't feel like coming either, but I had to because of Toby. As I said, we don't have to spend the entire night here. Once we eat our pieces of cake, we leave."

"Okay Miles." She rolled her eyes and kept staring at me before she smiled as well. "You do this for Toby and I do this for you."

"I love you," I whispered loud enough for her to here as I moved closer to place a kiss onto her plump lips.

"I love you, Miles."

Once we walked inside, I realized that the house seemed to be quite empty. I expected a lot more people and a bigger crowd, but as for now it were up to twenty people who were hanging around the house with some red cups in their hands and a few girls by their sides. Jo intertwined her small hand with mine and whispered, "I'll go over to my friends and you can-"

She couldn't finish her sentence because Toby and James came walking towards us and pulled me into a hug which caused me to let go of her hand. "Nice to see you, Miles! Come on over to our table."

I turned my head sideways to look at my gorgeous girl and saw her smiling my way. "Go. I'll be sitting in the living room with some other girls, don't worry."

"We won't stay long," I repeated for the twentieth time.

"It's okay Miles! Just go," she laughed, pushing me forward until James put his arm around my shoulder to guide me into a different direction. Andrew, Mark and Ashton were seated on the table we just reached with some beer, water and coke placed in front of them. We all greeted each other except for Andrew who seemed to be in deep thought but I shrugged it off for now and just squeezed his shoulder.

"Jo is looking like fire tonight," Ashton joked just to upset me although he knew that it didn't bother me anymore. He loved to tease me with Jo only to feel satisfied whenever I threw a tantrum but once I figured out that he said those words to make me angry, I stopped paying attention to them.

"Shut up." I cut him off straight away and he chuckled.

"Girl, girls, girls. Are we going to talk about girls the entire night again? Why do we always talk about girls? Let's talk about football for once, man."  Mark puffed with a good amount of annoyance lacing on his deep voice and it was James' turn to be the annoying prick this time.

"Okay, let's talk about something else then," he suggested while staring at Andrew with a malicious gaze. "Andrew, are you still here with us?"

"What's wrong with him?" I asked Toby, keeping my voice low right after James finished his question. If it was a touchy subject, I didn't want them to force Andrew to talk about it.

Toby shrugged nonchalantly. "I honestly don't know. He's been acting this way ever since he arrived."

"Why are you so upset, dude?" James nudged Andrew's sides with his elbow as he brought a glass filled with whiskey to his lips. James was a douche and sometimes I truly hated his guts but he was still a friend of mine nevertheless, so I had to keep up with him and his annoying behavior. "Still no luck in bed with her?"
