I looked up at the bright stars above me before looking back in front of me, I slowly walked through the woods kicking random rocks in my path I wasn't really watching where I was going until I heard a growl in front of me, my head snapped up and I saw a pair of bright red eyes. The alpha. I took off running as fast as I could and when I looked back he wasn't there when I turned back around he was right in front of me. I screamed as he lunged for me.

I woke up with a gasp my body lurching forward I checked the time on my phone which was on the best side table 1.am, 1 bloody am in the morning I hate the alpha. I sighed and let my body hit the bed I slowly closed me eyes even though I knew I wouldn't of been able to sleep a wink.
Suddenly I felt someone grabbed my hand in alarm my eyes open as I looked to the source of it, Derek Hale. I let out a sigh of relief "I'm sorry did I wake you," he said sheepishly thankfully Stiles had left a few hours ago.
"No, I couldn't sleep anyway."
"Let me guess dreams about the alpha."
"More like nightmares" I corrected him.
"I'm sorry I wasn't able to protect you, tonight by the time I go Scott and tracked him down you were already surrounded by EMT's."
I gave his hand a quick squeeze "it wasn't you fault you couldn't of done anything with Jackson there."
"How's your ankle" he asked me quickly changing the subject.
I slowly wiggled it around the pain was numb "doesn't really hurt it's numb but it is huge."
"Do you think you could walk."
"Walk, yeah maybe but where am I going to at one in the morning" I said both of our voices where whispers.
"Well I was thinking we could have our date now and I'll explain everything. I've been selfish but I'll tell you everything and this way we won't have to worry about your brother and Scott interpreting us."
I thought about for a second either stay here and lie in a hospital bed or go on a date with Derek Hale not even hard. I smiled at Derek "sure."

"Don't let me fall" I said to Derek after I told him I'd go on a date with him he took me to his car and blindfolded me, now we're walking though the woods the only way I know that is by the smell and crunch of leaves.
